I'm initially sceptical of this view. However, being mindful of my prefrontal cortical limitations, myriad biases, and the dangers of hubris, I try to remain, at all times, open to new arguments.

Like most on here, I'm not keen on losing money and will happily change my opinion if the facts, as understand them, have changed.

Would you please share your analysis as to why EPP's current finance arrangement is, as you say, a death spiral? And the conclusions that you draw from this.

ClownTrader - I presume you do know that it's many years since anyone can just wander into Downing Street. The whole place is locked down on all sides, nobody going in unless you have a meeting in #10 or are Press etc.

Look how this bit of the post differs from the earlier one that just mentioned DESNZ and DTI (clue - it now mentions No 10) - "Last week, Ben Clube, our CEO and James Poole (our CTO) met with officials at the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero, the Department of Business and Trade, and at No 10."

Read between the lines. Why has it taken a week for this No 10 photo op to appear? Because such photos require Gov approvals, what can / cannot be said and shown publicly about top level Gov meetings. Clearly, the Company now has approval to publicise that they also had meetings in No 10.

A microcap doesn't get invited for meetings in No 10 by chance. You go there after all the other Departments are aligned, ducks in a row etc.

Updated slides, NPV for LDES is £3-350m and for gas storage £4-800m

NPV range just for these two revenue streams is £700m -£1.15bn.

Plus graphite (£600m), hydrogen, ammonia revenues. We're looking NPV in the £bns. Current MCAP is c. £20m.

The actions of certain of EPP’s Market Markers (one in particular) is well understood - they’re killing their golden goose through their greed, exploitation, and short-sighted behaviour.

Their role is to provide liquidity, which ironically is the thing they do not do - it is clear to those who closely watch the tape, the order book, L2, and auctions what is going on.

We see the market maker(s) that sits at the top of the offer with an EMS (standard minimum quantity of shares that a market maker is obliged to quote firm bid/offer prices for under LSE rules) and then in a rising market refuses to provide a quote through the platforms (HL, IG, AJB, etc.) and DMA/RSP. As many traders call it - ‘NT to buy’.

Minutes and sometimes hours can go by, and despite the obligation to honour the EMS and provide a quote none can be had.

Slap on the 12% spread, the rise dies, and some traders sell, enabling the Market Maker to cover their short.

You’re playing hide-n-seek by hiding behind a lamp post. We see you.

It is sad, but unsurprising, that some platforms refuse provide access to certain markets. IG is withdrawing from AQSE trading next month.

Even sadder is that the likes of Robinhood and WeBull now offer UK traders access to US markets within an ISA. Tax free, no FX, fees, and no need to contend with your exploitative actions. By not making a market you are killing THE market.

We understand your individual staff and managers are incentivised in ways that promote these behaviours. It is sad that Market Maker leadership cannot see they have created a classic Tragedy of The Commons. You may get this years bonus, but when you kill the market, this years bonus won’t make up for next year’s lack of a job.

The traders meanwhile move their capital elsewhere where there is liquidity.

We see you. We see your actions in the tape and order book. EPP has a slew of catalysts incoming - if you’ve not closed your short yet, there’s a squeeze incoming. Remember the other MMs dislike you even more than we do and will be happy to see you burn.

And, if there right RTO target is agreed, then 50m MCAP should just be the start - hopefully much more over 12-18 months if you can sit on your hands

Something like that, but as FPP is on the Main Market, the minimum RTO valuation is £30m. To de-risk the process, the RTO target would ideally have a c. £50m target valuation - that way, if during the RTO process the FCA etc. downgrade or question certain aspects of the valuation we should be comfortably north of £30m.

If FPP secured 15% of the Newco, as had been previously mooted, that equates to £7.5m. Based on FPP#s current share capital, that's the equivalent (for FPP's slice of the new pie) of a 3p share price.

Obviously, there's several variables in there that would be negotiated between the parties, but should give a framework for modelling the opportunity here.

UK Gov and Team Barrow want inward investment into the area. EPP will create highly skilled jobs through the build out and operation.

EPP is currently a small cap and pre-revenue. Risks - yes.

I see the ABP RNS in this light too. Costains have selected sites for onshore elements. ABP have all but said, “fill your boots”. Does anyone realistically think they were independent activities?

GBE and NWF investment to crowd in private sector funding on the LDES and graphite, hydrogen, ammonia.

AUKUS subs ($300bn 30 year programme) being built out next door. Huge power needs and certainty of supply + graphite.

UK wind AR 7 just closed. AR8 brought forward to Sept 2026. North Sea countries to generate 300GW from offshore wind by 2050.

Energy security and energy sovereignty are at the core of national sovereignty. Electricity base loads of nuclear and time-shifted super cheap wind and solar are critical enablers.

These decisions DO NOT take place in isolation.

Long-term strategic planning takes time - it feels like we’re witnesses to those cards being laid out on the table. And we seem to, somewhat miraculously, own little bits of one of the trump cards. Up 100% in the last few weeks - this thing is only just getting started!

As others have said, watch the Investor presentation - make your own mind up on how massive MESH, MESH 2, MESH 3 etc. are going to be.

We're now seeing the company de-risk the project at every turn. No risk now of Centrica, Spirit Energy et al throwing sand in the gears of a MESH facility in the Port of Barrow ✅

In addition:

1. First time I recall mention of the graphite being used for nuclear purposes. That's handy with Sellafield a few miles away - a likely site of next gen SMR ✅

2. BAE are building the AUKUS nuclear subs in Port of Barrow ✅

3. We're firmly in bed with ABP ... that'll be handy when we want to build MESH 2, 3, 4 ✅

4. Planning is required, but should be straightforward under the expedited planning as a project of national significance ✅

5. Costain have already shortlisted the site locations ✅

It feels very much like all the dominos have been lined up for some time and with licence approval in the bag we'll see a steady flow of news 🏆

Agreed. As mainstream press (national + local) pick up on this new folks who want a more de-risked investment will want in. Similarly as more articles appear in the energy industry press potential larger players will want in.

So don't listen to me, perhaps listen to Dan McGrail, CEO GB Energy instead. On 9 April, GB Energy invested £40m in ITM Power, alongside a £46.5m grant from DESNZ. Here, he is telling us that LDES is next... make up your own minds.

I agree. Investors new and old should be wary of people ramping and also de-ramping stocks.

I just checked and you seem to have failed to answer any questions and substantiate the accusations you made (Lenigas & FPP, things you claimed I said, evidence of ramping). I understand that Peter and Paul are similar names, but importantly they’re different people - and I can’t see either ramping EPP or FPP.

So, it seems appropriate - in the basis above, to see you as a de-ramper and trying to throw sand in the gears.

If you’re wondering why this is up recently, I recommend you do your own research. Know what you own. This is not without risk.

EPP is building energy infrastructure that is of national significance and there have been multiple recent catalysts with more anticipated in the coming days. I'm happy to concede where I have a misunderstanding. Please could you share specific details of Lenigas' involvement in FPP?

3. In your post of 12:54 you mentioned Peter Stokes. There is a Peter Stokes (who, as mentioned, I spoke with) who is EPP shareholder and told me today that he is NOT an FPP shareholder.

In your post of 17:31 you mentioned Paul Stokes. I believe he is still an FPP TR1 - I have no idea if he also has a position in EPP and I have made no comment in that regard.

Being generous, I assume you inadvertently mixed up your Peter and Paul. Can you see how I commented on the specific name that you wrote at 12:54 and not the one that you had in your head but didn't write down until 17:31?

Per my first post, I’d still love to believe that your intentions were honourable. However, details are important - especially if you are bringing good folks' names into disrepute... and there are these small issues with attention to detail that we need to work through.

I just sent both a link to this thread - it got a good laugh all round. One has never bought shares in FPP and the other hasn't sold a bean... otherwise you'd have seen an updated TR1.

I'm afraid your research has let you down on this one, old chap.

As Fellwanderer said, there's no need to ramp EPP - there country has a dire need for MESH.

It has certainly taken much longer than we'd all anticipated, but it seems that EPP's time in the sun is upon us. To paraphrase Hemmingway, EPP is taking off in "Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly."
