There are lots of guesstimates out there for the value of the diamonds. AP has said that the diamonds will be cleaned and ready for sale within a month. He also says that they will be sold in phases.

I was looking at the diamond sorting houses in Dubai. They employ the latest technology including Da Vinci lasers for cutting diamonds. These can cut a window in a diamond in just over an hour. The larger diamonds and specials will have windows cut into them. They will then be looked at for clarity and some will be cut and polished. Green diamonds are found at Marange! Diamonds can be cut in a day now using lasers. This process used to take months.

Based on the above APs statement regarding timeline for sale holds up well.

The value also looks like it will be higher than originally stated by AP which was multiples of the market cap. We now have 36,000 carats of gem quality diamonds RNS'd and this is just on initial inspection so will likely go up.

I have been here for 5 years and done my research! Newbies are being exposed to trolls and nonsense on this BB and ADVFN.

So this my quick summation of what the value of the diamonds will be!

Basic research tells me that the diamonds are worth around 30 million,

even a new be with a cursory glance at the facts will concur.

Diamond parcels ensured 15 years ago for 18 million

AP says that the diamond parcel was better than expected with more jams!

An additional parcel of gem quality diamonds has been found since then all large diamonds up to 40 carats.

30+ million IMHO.

So there we have it very simple! But to the point.

Based on the above I have revised my low-ball estimate to 30million+

The market took this to the floor and beyond. We are looking at negatively priced assets here ATM!

BP has a value of 100 million once the drilling is done and the JORC updated to an expected resource circa -5million copper

A new mining licence anticipated in short order at Marange diamond fields in Zimbabwe! This will be priced in at multiples of today’s MC

There’s lots more happening with other licences in Romania and Tajikistan. DYOR
