That's Geowiz's MO, click on his / her username and you'll read deramps on other small cap oilers.
It has been fun over the years having him/her continually throwing negatives at GBP, I think there's good chance that Geo has bought GBP shares in the last month.

Geowiz - after years of deramping Global Petroleum, you have turned 180 degrees to being positive. Can we safely assume that you have now bought GBP shares ?
If you have, welcome aboard.
My understanding is that Monecor Ltd is a spread betting company.
Geowiz - Where do you get that idea from that I don't trade GBP? In fact I sold my SIPP holdings earlier this month and then repurchased at a lower price a week ago. My investment strategy on oil explorers is to top slice to create "free shares" for the well results.
Have you now actually purchased GBP shares?
Geowiz turns from perennial GBP Deramper to GBP Ramper in a flash. Have you now bought some GBP shares Geowiz?
Drilling in offshore Namibia is weeks away, exciting times.

Geowiz has been deramping GBP for years, his/her deramping is not restricted to Global Petroleum, just click on his/her username. We are weeks away from Total drilling in offshore Namibia, Geowiz must be getting vexed by this, oh forgot to mention Shell will be drilling in offshore Namibia shortly.
I've heard mention of paid derampers, I discounted that idea but now I'm not so sure.

"Who to believe" indeed Geowiz.
I recall you posting that you held shares in TRP, some would find that hard to believe given your deramps on the LSE TRP Chat Page. Still a mystery as to why you spend the time deramping GBP when you've confessed to not owning any GBP shares.
I can't recall ramping GBP to anyone, in year's gone by there was just me, Jimarillo and Marmit chatting on this thread.
We are weeks away from Total drilling in offshore Namibia, GLA.
Geowiz has been deramping GBP for years, if you click on his/her username you will see that the posts are all on small oil companies and all the posts are negative.
Different folks, different strokes, they say.

Total's Namibian drill - a poster on another chat page has kindly posted an update on the Maersk Voyager. Total have used 1 of their 2 well options and has just started drilling in Block 48 Angola this month. It is estimated that the drill will last 54 days, this means that it should arrive on Total's Namibian Block in December 2021.
We are week's away from Namibian offshore drilling, "Exciting Times" indeed !

Geowiz has been deramping GBP for years, he/she has admitted that he/she does not own GBP shares but that does not stop the negative GBP posts. If you click on the username, you will see that Geowiz posts exclusively on small cap oilers. Some time ago Geowiz posted that he/she owned TRP shares, some might doubt that after his / her last TRP post on 27 September 2021:-
"Have the Nigerians wired the 15 million from Lagos yet? Lol squared"
Turning to Namibia, a poster on another chat page has kindly posted an update on the Maersk Voyager. Total have used 1 of their 2 well options and has just started drilling in Block 48 Angola this month. It is estimated that the drill will last 54 days, this means that it should arrive on Total's Namibian Block in December 2021".

This Thursday's Investor Presentation is hopefully the start of positive news flow coming from Shaun & his team.

I topped up my SIPP holdings this morning @ 1.689p.
Fingers crossed for decent drilling results.

I have bought @ £2.45.7 this morning in order to average down in my ISA.
I'm not a great fan of "re-branding", total waste of money imho. The management should sort out business performance, the CEO has to start turning things around soon.

Very interesting, Peter Taylor (co-founder) sells down below 3% last month and now we are informed that Imperial Brands LLC of UAE has acquired 3.69% of Global Petroleum. Total are planning to drill in offshore Namibia in December 2021 and we await announcement from Shell regarding timescales on their offshore Namibian drill.
Exciting times.
I cannot get an online for a £1k buy, MM's only offering £500 @ 0.51p online.
Importantly, Total will be drilling in 2021 in offshore Namibia. We now await confirmation from Shell with regards to its Namibian offshore drill dates. Geowiz & Co won't be happy reading this.

Peter Hill is a Clifford Chance trained lawyer, GBP shareholders can therefore be reassured that when he writes / approves an RNS stating ".....the Company announced on 10 August 2021 that the Ministry of Mines and Energy ("Ministry") had agreed to Global's proposal to enter into the next licence sub-period, from September 2021 to September 2022", it means that GBP will / has now entered the next licence sub-period.
GLA
"The Company completed some time ago its work commitments under the current licence sub-period, which expires in September 2021. Having done so, the Company announced on 10 August 2021 that the Ministry of Mines and Energy ("Ministry") had agreed to Global's proposal to enter into the next licence sub-period, from September 2021 to September 2022. The work commitment for the next sub-period is to acquire and process 2,000 square kilometres of 3D seismic data, a commitment which Global expects to fulfil via a farmout". Indeed, hope that Total & Shell strike oil during their Q4 2021 drilling campaigns.

garethbrierley19 - I foolishly sold 60,000 SQZ shares @ 75p a while back. They were rights issue shares which I paid 18p for & other SQZ shares that I paid 30p - 35p for.
Fortunately, I did not sell all of the family's SQZ shares, after holding SQZ shares for over 10 years, it is heartening to see this company realising its potential. The journey continues....
