19 January 2024 - 600,000 share trade went through @ 28.0p for £168,000.
Is this stake building or a wealthy PI with £168,000 to invest ?
Happy to hold these.
Today's RNS is very much welcomed, the Directors have returned the company to profitability, fingers crossed for a dividend to be paid later this year. I've topped up my holdings.

I feel for the IPO investors, I think the IPO price was circa 200 pence.
Will this share recover in 2024 ? One to ponder....

Given the time of year (Good will to all men etc) it is sad to read that there are individuals who like nothing more than spreading negativity & discord. I have been invested in this company since the Noricum Gold days, I've been through the ups & downs. No troll is going to dampen my hopes of where Empire Metals is going.
Seasons greetings to everyone (including the troll).
You're spot on ML..... just enjoy the ride !

ML,
I have fingers (& toes !) crossed hoping for some transformational drilling results......I have a very nasty paper loss to cover on one of my AIM oil shares ! AIM stocks are certainly not "for widows & orphans" !!

Likewise Manlord, I bought my first Noricum Gold shares in May 2011, went through the extremely painful 1 for 100 share consolidation in October 2016. It has been an interesting journey.
Ignored the advice to not average down, looking forward to Empire Metals going from strength to strength.

Credit card companies regularly undertake Debt Sales to third parties, this happens when the credit card company's Collection Procedures have come to end. There are specialist UK Debt purchasers who either own their own DCA or outsource to a DCA, those Debt Purchasers will typically buy debts for pence in the pound.
I hope this is useful.
We have seen the CEO buy shares in the last week, it would be nice to see Ms Talintyre (CFO) show some faith by buying OSB shares.
This looks interesting, decided to take a small punt this morning. Positioned for growth, change of leadership, new person will hopefully prove their worth by being adept at getting things moving in the right direction.....GLA.
It will be interesting to see what "adjustments" the largest UK residential mortgage provider, Lloyds Banking Group (incl. Halifax) & other residential lenders, Santander, Nationwide BS, Nat West et al do when they release their results.
Someone has been "sleeping on the job", very poor management imo.
Stephen Bird's "Turnaround Strategy" is not delivering, results at Man Group this morning shows what can be achieved with the right CEO and the right strategy. Time for Stephen Bird to leave?
Banco Santander SA is among a number of parties interested in a private equity unit of abrdn PLC, Sky News reported on Friday.

"stand by my earlier suggestion: sell now.
Of course you can play the cowboy and stick to it until it is worth 0"
It would appear that Abrdn has not taken Georgina673 advice.

I'm pleased to see Abrdn increase their stake in 888 Holdings, nice vote of confidence from one of the UK's largest institutional shareholders. This morning's announcement appears to have silenced the derampers.

Trader 76 - Many thanks.
I have had a look at the 888 Holdings website, I can't see the dates on which dividends are paid. Can anyone please confirm when dividends are paid?
Many thanks.
This looks interesting so I've taken a small position. I owned William Hill shares over 10 years ago, not held a Gambling stock since then. Hoping the sell off is overdone, CFO staying on until the end of the year, hopefully this means that the finances are sound.

I have just received a top up quote @ 1.735p, I would therefore say that the 3,000,000 share transaction was a buy.
