Master ; it's a total myth that Trump was a great business man. His father was successful as a real property developer supplying bread and butter housing for soldiers coming back from WW2. He didn't build casinos or high rise buildings for the super rich. DT had every advantage in life, but by the mid 90s no bank in the US would lend him money, and his businesses were pretty well all bust. It was laundered Russian money that bailed him out - Trump leant his name for a % and they financed the builds. That's why they have such a hold on him. Then he went into reality TV shows based on the myth of him being a great business man. And the gullible believed him, and still do.

As for Putin - how can you call a psychopathic mass murderer " successful " ? He even murdered Russians to get into power ie the mysterious apartment bombings in parts of Russia just prior to Putin coming to power. Up to then Putin was regarded as a boring grey bureaucrat by the public. They were traced back to the FSB, who planted the bombs, yet Putin suddenly became the all action saviour of Russia - blaming it on the Chechens and then launching mass bombing on the civilian population like he has done in the Ukraine.

I suppose based on your logic you could say that Hitler was successful because he was in power in Germany for 13 or so years.....

Master ; Trump is 79. Nobody goes on about his age, though I think he's an idiot regardless of age. Our PM is 62. Churchill was 65 when he became PM - he didn't do too badly. Putin is 72, but nobody goes on that he invades other countries because he has Alzheimer's or something.

I assume you are 43, but you seem to have strange ageist ideas.

Master - a farmout would clearly change everything. 35 or so wells operating by the end of next year hopefully. The large companies wont mess around with the drilling.

And don't ignore the renewables - they will have at least one project to sell to a developer next year.

It's great that a few of the genuine people on here are sharing their situations. I would like even Master to emerge with all his money back, and maybe even a bit of profit in return for all the anxiety he has seemingly incurred.

At least if it hits say 4p most people could decide what they want to do at that point, rather than being just being helpless bag holders.

Unlike Master, I'm happy to admit that so far my approach has all been wrong. Should have been more aware of the risk of raises for a company that didn't have any revenue up until recently, and was extremely foolish not to take at least some profits when they were on the table. As a minimum should have top sliced. Last time I was in profit was when the LP was announced and it doubled to 5.3p in one day. I was 25k up at one point when it hit 7p in 2023 - crazy not to have at least top sliced back then. Master must have been heavily in profit back then as well, as I wouldn't be surprised if he has 100k worth of shares.

I'm at 1.5m - average 3.5p.

Master - why not just calm down, await hopefully the farmout agreement announcement, and then when you get your 4p back( or close to it ) just get the hell out ?

And then never ever go near microcaps again, because to say that they are unsuitable for the likes of you would be the understatement of the century. With your 4p you could have taken profits in 2020 ( yes, even the covid year ) 2021,2022, 2023 and 2024.

It's not really rocket science. I dipped quickly in and out of Met1 when it was surging and made a few grand. I have bought MATD shares over several years in multiple tranches and am currently well underwater.

And btw I don't agree with how much MB has been paid up to his recent pay cut. It has been excessive given that he was being paid more than the CEOs of Taylor Wimpey and Diageo.
