Trouble with this board that you get some extreme elements at both ends of the spectrum.

On the one hand you have a few people with a pathological hatred of the company, and anybody associated with it - including its genuine shareholders. They are either being paid to spout their vindictive venom, or else they are just severely mentally ill. Or maybe a bit of both.

And on the other hand you have the control freaky " thought police " such as TBT and Margaritas, who will not brook any kind of " negativity " according to their subjective opinion on what somebody posted. So if you try to analyse say how forward selling actually works ( I would have thought absolutely vital for any person getting involved with microcaps ) then you automatically become a " basher. " In other words, everything you write has to be along happy clappy lines, and everything must be always " great, " " super " and " simply smashing." No balanced debate involving the pros and cons is actually permitted.

Therefore Proquo writing to the company voicing his apparent displeasure about how the raise was done, and about what he called the "tardiness " of this year's work programme IMO is entirely the prerogative of any genuine shareholder.

I would agree with what Adw189 wrote regarding the future prospects.

I personally would never claim that any one company in Aim is the best prospect out of the whole lot. I Think that Rockhopper has been the best performing company on Aim in the last 12 months. At least it's another oiler and not a gold miner ! Someone recently said that all the interest at the moment is in gold...Rockhopper proves that for the right company there is still a lot of interest in oilers as well.

I would guess that the three expats including Jerry Smart accounted for a very large portion of the total wage bill. Wages are very low in Mongolia.

This is why the farm out is so vital - it will sweep away any future risk of forward selling of shares. Good results from any of the 3 workovers will also help of course - after those big pay cuts to the three ex pats working for the company the company currently seems to be now at breakeven.

I realise now that forward selling is one of the big hazards to be aware of with companies that don't have a reasonable income stream. The discount required by the forward selling institution will vary according to their perceived risk - just as the interest rate offered by a creditor to a potential borrower will vary according to how much risk the creditor is willing to take.

I only recently cottoned on to how the forward selling works with a raise. I did put forward a question for the investor presentation asking when the forward selling agreement was made. It wasn't read out in the investor presentation.

We don't actually know what the market share price was when the forward selling was agreed at 0.8p, though there was reference by MB to " Mongolia fatigue. " This implied that whatever institution it was required a huge discount. For all we know, it might have been agreed on one of the three times this year when the share price hit a resistance of 2.4p, in which case the discount would have been huge. The forward seller then has until the raise is announced to sell off the shares. This may be why in June the share price suddenly halved from 2.4p to 1.2p....

Kevin - actually, a I believe what you say, though I still struggle to understand your thinking. I guess if you're dipping in and out a couple of times then it wasn't worth you going any real research ? It's a bit galling though for longer term investors who have taken the time to assimilate facts.

Regarding investors paying for further drills ,- that's the whole point of a farm out. The other party pays for the roll out, whereas with a JV the costs would be shared.Thats why a farm out would be so pivotal. You seem very fixated about just H2 as though it will determine everything.

I'm filtering you as well Margaritas - you're too idiotic to realise that the likes of you give adw exactly what he wants.

Margaritas : I've been figuring out whether Our Kev is likely to be genuine or not. After today's posts I think the verdict is pretty obvious. He's not a very good liar. I will be filtering him now.

A few exchanges to find out the truth is a different ballgame to spending months doing tit for tat with a very overt basher such as adw. So I'll leave you to spend all evening until midnight doing useless exchanges with him, saying the same old things over and over.

I make it a max of 175m for all four projects combined split between two parties - hardly a few quid or a " a few pence " either....

Simple Kev - an out and out basher who struggles to put a coherent sentence together, whose previous posts have been riddled with factual inaccuracies and yet who thinks we should take on board his 100% negative slant on the company and its prospects....

Adw189 ; Master has changed completely compared to say a couple of years ago. He was pretty sensible back then. He was fat more positive about the company as a non revenue generating outfit than he had been as a revenue generating producer.

You only have to look at a range of microcaps on aim to know that there can be enormous price fluctuations in just a year. There was a bio company yesterday up 105% on the day which had a price variation over the last 12 months of between 0.85p and 7p. It was about 4p yesterday.

I very much doubt that Master has understood the typical nature of the price action of many aim microcaps, as the current share price seems to have totally unhinged him. He's never said how many shares he actually owns - just that it would be far more than most people on here....

Manx - a lot of PIs who get involved with aim are looking for breakouts and momentum. If a catalyst causes a breakout if the share price then a lot of people suddenly pile in and the volume soars. Buying volume is to a company's share price what wind is to a sailboat.

When you read the comments on a range of boards on here you can see that people move around all the time trying to surf on the next momentum wave that is breaking for any given company. I don't think that many plonk a load of money into an aim microcap and just leave it there for years on end. Most are looking to ride volatility, and breakouts are the best way often to catch a move early in.

IMO we will need a farm out announcement to create a decent price breakout. Volume will then follow.

If that's the best attempt by the gang of bashers to diminish the significance of the renewables side of things, then I'm afraid that they will need to pay for a better intellect than Simpleton Kev is capable of to make it effective....

And to correct " Simpleton Kev " MB stated how much selling on to a developer would be worth in terms of the power potential of a project, and it's very lucrative indeed, so absolutely not being worth just " a few pence. " I guess if you can't spell or write properly then you won't remember facts given in the Investor Presentation...

And using the property development analogy which he plagiarised, actually the likes of farmers make absolute fortunes from getting PP for multiple houses on a field and selling it to a developer. Even someone dividing a large garden and getting PP will usually make a lot of money.

KeinRound - another resident neg, who has just plagiarised my description of how the renewables side works, with the analogy of someone buying a plot of land and getting PP etc.

I guess if you don't understand the difference between a JV and a farm out then you need help with understanding other concepts too....A cheek to take other people's thoughts and then present them as your own on here to show a great understanding of the subject....

Margaritas ; they may not go away, however they are energised by your engagement directly with them.
