The exploitation licence being extended by nearly 15% more than the previous 21 years ( 4 years had expired ) must make Block XX more valuable, and in the eyes of the other party which asked for a draft farmout agreement, this extension must be a huge plus, not to mention in the eyes of the two other interested parties.

And by the way - the markets are always quite during the holiday period in August.

A commercial flow rate from H2 will make the company profitable for the first time in its history.

The real prize though is a farmout - it would be completely transformational. And next year the company will very likely also make a packet from selling one of the renewable projects to a developer. This could quickly transform to a cash rich company.

So exactly a year ago today the share price was 3.5p a couple of months prior to production starting, and about a couple of months after a 2p raise.

And recently we had a low of 0.65p....

It seems that Jerry Smart is also the Chief Technical Officer at Euphrates Energy. Presumably he must be highly valued in the industry ;

My Direct Line shares a while back turned into a real dog for a time, but I held onto them and got back to breakeven after the takeover was announced. I had several years of dividends from them.

And those who might have bought RR shares say in 2018 or 19 at around £4.00 would have been foolish to call their shares a dog, and then sold up when they were about 90% down during the pandemic in 2020.There was talk of the company being nationalised at the time. At the recent peak they would have gone from being 90% down to almost 300% in profit.

3.5p on the 22nd August, just before production began. A recent low of 0.65p after production had been going on for 9 months or so.

And all the bashers turn up en masse just as production starts.
