Interesting how so many people who comment on here seem to have no idea about the historical price action. How many know that it went up 52% in a day in May last year when the LP consent was announced ?

Or that it went from 1.8p on the open after an RNS in 2023 up to 6.5p on the same day ?

Or that the price action over the years has been a panorama of mountains and valleys ? - there has been no major trend in either direction.

If and when a farmout deal is announced I think we will see another huge price surge. Whether it then becomes another mountain profile or a long-term uptrend is anybody's guess.

Some of the expectations on here over years have been wild wishful thinking - Hamm with his " 15p on LP" or " 40p after production by the end of 2024 " etc.

Resource microcaps are always mainly going to be pump and dumps before they generate proper revenue. Try looking at Met1's price action over the last 6 months if you don't believe me. The only time to buy and hold is when a proper income stream comes in.

Master - I have no faith in you given that you say you are in at an average of 4p but in your own words " got too greedy " when it went to around 9p after the exploitation licence was granted in July 2021 and took no profit from the rise.

The fact is that anybody having an average of 4p back in 2019 could have taken profits ( some of them big profits ) in 2020,2031,2022,2023 and 2024. When the LP consent was announced in May last year the share price went up 52% in a day to 5.2p. With hindsight it was obvious that a raise would happen then.

I don't think you're the kind of person who ever learns from mistakes - the fact is that when many of us bought in say I'm 2018/19 we didn't recognise that at the time it was a pump and dumper. Those who have just held regardless have so far come out far worse than those who dipped in and out. And before proper income comes in, these resource microcaps are always going to be subject to frequent raises.

You make it sound as though there has been a continual downtrend in the share price since 2018, but in fact the price action has been a series of mountain peaks and valleys spanning many years. Look at a chart and work it out for yourself.

There's no other logical explanation for him being able to waste so much time on here. It can't be because he is financially secure enough not to have to work, as somebody in that position would never be daft enough to spend his entire life commenting on a microcap company which will never make him any money.

And 51 posts by this corpse person about MATD in the last month, but just one on another company's board. And all for a company he seemingly doesn't rate, and would never buy shares in.

And one final comment corpse - why didn't PC just try to buy Soco in 2005 rather than buying block 19 for the equivalent of 150m ?

Up until this year the share price often in a given year had a low of around 2p and a high of between 5 to 9p actually. When the exploitation licence was granted in 2001 it hit around 9p. In one day back in 2003 it spiked down to 1.8p at 8am and then spiked up as high as 6.5p on the same day.

Your false narrative of giving the impression of a constant downtrend over 8 years shows as much knowledge of the yearly price action as you have of block 19 and the Soco sale

Check what the average price of oil was between say 2000 and 2004. Even when adjusted for inflation the average price in each year was far lower than today's price.

So 150m would only be about what PC paid Soco back in 2005 when adjusted for inflation.

And regarding what block 20 is worth. PC paid the equivalent of 150m Dollars for block 19 back in 2005, when the average price of oil over the previous few years was far less than it is today, even adjusting for inflation.

And no 3D data was available to PC back in 2005 either, as it has been for a portion of block 20, as PC had part of block 20 surveyed when it did so for all of block 19 after buying it from Soco.

Again, you seem to be willfully ignorant about the history of block 19 and the 2005 sale, as presumably it doesn't fit in with your narrative.

Corpse - you are either a paid basher or another sociopath who is bored with life and gets a kick out of being spiteful to other human beings. Why else would you be here ? If you want to make money in the financial markets then the way to do it is clearly not by obsessing about a company which you seemingly feel has no future. Why should the company even matter to you other than you getting a sick kick out of trying to make existing shareholders feel despondent ?

And if block 20 is so unattractive then why are three parties from two different countries lining up to do a farmout deal, including the one who has asked for a draft contract ?

And regarding block 19 - again, you show a lack of knowledge. Production from PC in block 19 began in 2006 or 2007, so for it to reach its peak of most likely more than 10,000 bopd in 2015 was some 8 or 9 years after they started. Presumably quite normal for a 20 to 25 year lifespan of an oilfield. And recently it was still producing 6,000 bopd.

Corpse - if you are so much into figures, then educate yourself about the kind of production figures that block 19 has achieved. It's the closest thing to block 20, so it's one of the most relevant bits of info to know about.

Your earlier comment about how little MATD would potentially earn from a farmout proves that you have had absolutely no idea about the history of block 19.

Which do you prefer ? A farmout or an outright sale of the field ? Block 19's performance was incredibly impressive after PC bought it. A large slice of the 23,000 bpd at the peak of 2015 for blocks 19, 21 and 22 combined must have been coming from the 75 odd wells in block 19.

No wonder PC and others must be keen on Block 20 - they will no doubt view it as the next Block 19, which is now in massive decline after 20 odd years.

Funny how they have seemingly no interest in the likes of Met1 - a junior resource company which may yet be years from actually becoming a producer, and with a share price that would currently be about 0.6p without the 10-1 consolidation. A few months ago it soared up to 55p ( 5.5p in old money ) from around 10p, and then crashed down to about 4p ( 0.4p in old money ) in just 3 weeks. Then back up to around 25p ( 2.5p) and then back down to around 5p ( 0.5p) just recently. Currently around 6p ( 0.6p )

Not a word of criticism or cynicism about this company's situation and prospects though, and even though it issued an inordinate no of warrants in the past.

Peak crude production in Mongolia peaked at around 23,000 bopd in 2015 by the way.

PC's Block 19 ( bought from Soco in 2005 ) must have been contributing the largest part of this total - it's been much more productive than blocks 21 and 22.

And 21,000 bpd by Sept 2014 - most of it driven by block 19, in the same Tamsag field as our block XX.
