The problem with this share is that the local access permission was granted in late May 2024, but so far there are only two productive wells. So it's taken average of 11 months to get just one well producing. Plus all the PC payment fiasco on top

This is why a farm out is so important - it changes all the dynamics, and makes a fast roll out of a multi well programme feasible and hopefully imminent. Perception would change markedly. Plus the involvement of an oil major would dilute concerns about the general track record of MATD over the years. It would bolster its reputation through associated with another company's reputation in the industry.

Presumably as the bid is now 28p he was stopped out? Someone's clearly not telling the truth....

It's a hell of an ask to expect MATD to provide even anything like 50% of the capacity when it opens.

That's why the people talking about the company going it alone are dreaming. No way will the government be happy with MATD just ambling along in its own time. A refinery working to only a small % of its capacity would be a huge political embarrassment - possibly a national scandal.

And the hit rate is about 60% per drill- not 100,% as some appear to assume. You could easily spend 3m doing the next two drills, and they turn out to be non productive. H2 so far has been a warning.

For me, it's a farm out or sell the field.

EEE was nearly 50p in early Jan, and is 27p today - down nearly 10% today.

No wonder this Cevodniya guy is in such a bad mood...

Dusty clearly hasn't noticed the spread - 13.6%...Or that I mentioned to Hamm the other day that when the MMs want to widen the spread they drop the bid and leave the ask the same. It's still going to cost him 1.25p if he wanted to buy in. Lol.

MB holds about 20m shares doesn't he ? He's a far bigger shareholder than any on here, including you. As he said recently in a presentation " I'm underwater too. " How much would you estimate he is underwater by if his average was say around the 2p to 2.5p mark ?

And although I'm unsure how many shares Petrovis own, it could be around 200m to 300m. In the early years they owned about 40 to 45% of the company. I'm sure that they don't want to be heavily underwater too, and they've also been heavily diluted in recent years. Petrovis has people who sit on the MATD board.
