Doc and Adw198 ; This "TenBagTag " very likely is ' Gigi ' in his latest guise. He has exactly the same patronising and arrogant manner of responding to other posters on here. And the same determination to stifle any debate. Oh, and the same use of mocking emojis, which is usually a sure sign of narcissistic behaviour. I would guess that he wanted to dispense with what this Gigi laughably stated in his first post on here - that he is a ' business student ' as this had been used by some as a stick to beat him with ever since....

Regarding Milton micro cap's report - I notice that no mention was made of Labour's intention to do away with the inheritance tax break for investment in Aim shares. Surely this has been a factor in Aim underperforming the main indices by 15% this year. The prospect of hikes in CGT wont help either.

Can't you get it in your thick head that I haven't paid a penny for any course whatsoever ? You are such a bigot that you can't even realise that some successful day traders post lots of clips on the web for free. I have watched literally scores of tuition clips, plus scores of recaps of each day's trading session without paying a single penny. The only investment is time.

You are a johnny come lately to this share, and your arrogance in terms of mocking those who have been invested for years smacks of pure narcissism. I don't need to be lectured about anything to do with this share by yourself - your great contribution so far in terms of information was to falsely claim that a well production costs $2.5m. If anyone is a ' false guru ' it's you if anybody is foolish enough to listen to you.

I would say that ' absurd ' involves someone who calls another person a ' fake guru ' without even knowing who that person is, or anything about them. Actually the word ' bigot ' might be a better description. In fact even the senior trader in the London branch of the American broker that I use has heard of this trader, and respects his methods and track record.

If you want, you can stop hiding behind a username, and then go ahead and again publicly call him a ' fake guru. ' I will then put you in touch with him, and we will see how you get on with a probable defamation action against yourself....

The fact is that just like 'WOS ' you haven't the slightest idea of what day trading is, what the methods to do it are, and the kind of success which some have with it. You are stuck with your ' plonk a load of money in a small cap and then wait to get rich ' mentality. Day trading is vastly more sophisticated than this approach.

At least there are some people on here who seem to be doing some kind of due diligence, and are looking objectively at all the factors - not just the ones that suit them. An good example of the latter is one or two people such as this abzzba only looking at one factor to do with the oil price - ie what Israel might do to Iran, but then ignoring a host of other important factors which might put pressure on the price of oil in the other direction. I have a clear idea in my head now of the pros and cons - and there are a number of both.

Owl - if you ever had the intelligence to try and scalp /day trade Nasdaq micro caps, then you would know that simulator trading is an essential step just prior to trading for real with a cash or leveraged account. The guy I follow made $104,000 in one day last week by the way, and just over $200,000 for the whole week.

I have seen what leaving a large amount long term in Aim with a share such as Matd does - years of frustration, and then numerous paper gains and losses with no tangible result after some 5 years. You can keep that kind of ' investment.' Apart from some high yielders on the main indices I wont be ' investing ' long term again, and I certainly wont be taking any further punts on Aim once I am out of PM.

How much money have you ever made through long term investing ? Go on - do tell.

TenBag ; your constant use of the word ' trash ' is pure hyperbole. It just diminishes what you are saying. Maybe use more intelligent language ?

I am not a trader by the way - only on Nasdaq shares, which frankly are much interesting than shares on Aim. There is clearly far more capital inflow into Nasdaq micro caps. It's been interesting to see the difference.

I wish that I had dipped in and out on this share though during the peaks of the previous pump and dump spikes. Buy on a raise and then sell on the peak of a pump and dump spike to date has been the best way to go about investing in this volatile share. That's what that micro cap fund company did with half of its share holding, and the professionals generally know better than average retail investors.

Anyway, your underlying premise is that what is said on here will have an immediate negative impact on the share price. And what if that premise is incorrect ? For me, debating the pros and cons and becoming aware of all the different factors might have some kind of influence on my future strategy - for example pre-empting a possible future raise etc, but that's it.

Asher7 ; I hope we all get that rerate - I think everyone who has invested deserves it. Even that Owl guy.

Of course we used to get the decent spikes up until quite recently - that 6.5p and then 7p fairly soon after a rise early last year for example. And on nothing much compared to day in terms of the fundamentals.

I do wonder if Labour probably doing away with the IT break on Aim shares might have something to do with it. Hence people triggering redemptions from that micro-cap investment fund. Plus the fact that Labour are almost certainly going to raise CGT levels - that double threat has probably caused a bit of a capital flight away from Aim just recently. Apparently Aim is 15% down relative to the main indices this year.

Asher7 ; presumably I might be labelled as a ' neg ' because I've endured years of Matd delays and several raises, and therefore after getting my fingers burnt on the last raise I am ultra cautious, and try to take into account all the factors at play - not just the ones that I want to hear because they help make me feel good about myself.

You're wrongly assuming that the ' negs ' are not heavily invested. Well I am - and believe you me, if there is a decent rerate then far from having a bloody nose, I will probably be a fair bit richer financially. I have 1.5m shares btw.

Doc ; the reason why people will be taking capital out of Milton is because Labour are probably going to do away with the inheritance tax break for investment in Aim shares. An article in a UK newspaper yesterday mentioned that " Aim has underperformed the wider London market by as much as 15%." Steven Fine ( the CEO of Peel Hunt ) also mentioned that something needs to be done to stop the ' horrendous ' outflow of funds from UK equity markets.

I think that this capital flight away from the UK is going to be made worse if that idiot woman Reeves significantly raises UK capital gains tax.

IMO Matd would be acting far more in the interests of its investors if it floated on Nasdaq - apparently research by the New Financial thinktank has shown that more than 600 firms worth less than £1bn have left the UK stock exchange in the last 20 years. One major reason is because they are consistently undervalued.

It does sound patronising when people who have been invested with Matd for years are being spoken down to like foolish kids. Especially when it's the johnny come latelys who do the patronising.

I'm sure he does - I don't think there's any other reason why people would invest other than to make profit.

I do think the spikes that we have had in the past after an RNS are more down to pump and dump activity - not the wording of an RNS for example. I see it every day with Nasdaq micro-caps - a news catalyst can send them soaring, but it often lasts just a short while before there's a huge retracement - sometimes back to where the share price started before the move.

The price action with micro-caps is just extremely volatile - it's the nature of the beast. What people are hoping for with Matd is what we have seen with Rolls Royce over the last two years, but I'm not sure if that stable upward trending price action will be possible with a micro-cap such as this one.

Londonsuede ; I'm in a very similar position to yourself - though my average is just a bit higher than 3p.

In fact my posts were pretty positive and highly uncritical prior to the raise, but obviously since then the share price has been at rock bottom. TenBagTag is a recent arrival, and probably has no idea of what has been said by people prior to a few weeks ago. When I first came on here Hamm was extremely critical and negative about the company - he was a deramper if that's how you define one.

Nobody's ' trashing ' anything. Debate should not be stifled - that's the kind of thing which populist leaders and identity politics fanatics do. They like to shut down debate through shaming those who have differing opinions. A free society dignifies dissent - it doesn't try to stamp on it.

As I said before, prior to the raise I was far too unquestioning about how the company was going to finance itself going forward, and as a result had my fingers burnt. And back then just prior to the raise I was defending the likes of WOS who were adamant that another raise wouldn't happen.

I mean it's only just become apparent to most people on this board since a few days ago that a well costs $4m to develop to production, and not the other much lower figures that were being touted. Some actually thought that it might cost $1m. That's a difference of night and day to the financial status of the company going forward. So debate is healthy in order to try and ascertain the true facts and not the head in the clouds wishful thinking which some are prone to ( no names mentioned...)

Can the people urging others to sell realise that following the raise there are probably a hell of a lot of LT bag holders here. If they have any sense they are not going to crystallise a ( probably big ) paper loss into a real loss now that production is hopefully about to happen at long last. There will be a lot of selling if there is a sudden spike, as a lot of people who perhaps had faith in the past are currently trapped.

So we can we give up with this daft and unthinking narrative ' " if you don't like it then just sell. "

Doc ; one thing you learn from studying Nasdaq micro-caps for scalp trading - the ones that really tend to rocket during a news driven price spike are the ones with the smaller floats ( ie the total no shares issued to the public )

It's a case of simple supply and demand - on a news catalyst - creating a sudden surge in demand - with a small float a sudden huge imbalance between supply and demand can quickly develop. So the price can spike up very sharply, and then nearly always does a big pullback soon after. You have to trade the front side of the move, and be quick.

So I do wonder how the doubling of the no of shares in circulation following the last raise will impact on a news driven Matd price spike. There were pump and dump spikes in early 2023 to 6.5p and then to 7p only weeks after a 2p raise having said that.

it's no wonder really when you think about how PM have been treated by the authorities over the last 10 years. Particularly that recalcitrant and obstructive previous provincial governor, who refused to sign the tripartite agreement which would give PM an unlimited time period to extract from Heron. As it stands, the company has a licence for 4.5 years, with the tripartite agreement not yet signed by any new governor either.

TenBagTag ; that's exactly what I'm doing - following months of study, I'm now several weeks into simulated trading using the same method on the Thinkorswim platform, and doing well with it. Soon to trade for real. Unfortunately, when I first invested in Matd back in 2019 I had no knowledge of Nasdaq day trading, or its potential.

And believe you me - it's not a get rich quick scheme involving plonking a lump sum of money into a speculative share and hoping for the best, whilst shouting down anybody who takes a balanced perspective, and looks at both the pros and coins of investment of the share in question.

And by the way, if you look at my posts just prior to the June raise, I was dismissive of people who even talked about a possible raise. I admit myself that I was too sold on the pros of Matd and refused often to look realistically at the cons. I have been invested in Matd since August 2019 and a fat lot of good it has done me to date....Any sign of a spike here and I will start to reduce my holding significantly.
