Tell me what the share price is in early to mid summer. We have been where we are now many times before if you actually bothered to look at a long term chart. Again, you are being naive about price action and seasonality.

And Trump jnr started with every advantage in life - a rich spoilt kid, due to his father having been a genuinely successful property developer in NY - providing housing for service people coming back from the war. Yet Trump junior still managed to go virtually bankrupt by the mid 90s.

What BS. Did the market ' lose confidence ' yesterday when the share price was down 8.5% with a difference of £4,900 between the sells and the buys ?

Every year there has been a 100 to 350% difference in the share price between the low and high of the year.

You basically don't understand micro cap penny shares and their typical price action. They are hugely volatile in terms of the price action, and the MMs can move the price around to suit their own ends as much as they like with miniscule daily volumes. You should have researched micro caps before you ever got involved with them. I bet you know almost nothing even now.

Try watching a bunch of micro caps on Nasdaq in real time every day. I've lost count of how many I've watched do a "round turn " on the same day after significant news to do with the company comes out - they are often biotech companies So the share price often soars by several hundred % for an hour or two, and then quite often the share price comes right back down again. That's not a case of the ' market losing confidence ' in them - it's just typical micro cap, penny share price action behaviour.

You are simply naive about the stock market - you think that a typical tiny volume micro cap behaves like a large cap, high volume company such as Shell.

Master ; I notice in that list you missed out the 2019 exploitation licence being granted ( one of very few ever given ) the 2024 local access permission being granted by an overwhelming majority, and earlier this year the Special Purpose 25 year status being granted - and wasn't that the first time ever ?

Oh, and a very promising JV set up with Sunsteppe, plus the company moving from being an explorer to being an oil producer. How many barrels of oil are Rockhopper currently extracting ?

Master - before I filter you, I actually predicted to within one day when they would get the local access permission. The likes of Doc of course had been saying for ages that they wouldn't obtain it. I also ( wrongly as it turned out ) argued with the likes of ' professional ' that the company would no raise back in the first part of last year. Of course at times I got frustrated with years of delays, however I first bought in August 2019 and have added many times since - sometimes on a raises. So me being a trader is total BS - stop lying about me. In fact I wish that I had dipped in and out over the years, as it has been the best approach so far.

Frankly you need to grow up and take responsibility for your own decision making. Your username on here says a lot about the high regard that you have for yourself - as though you were some kind of 'master ' of fundamental research....

You had the chance to sell at 7p, take a fat profit, and then go in again at the right time - say after a raise, but you didn't do. At least I admit when I have got things wrong, whereas you ego doesn't allow you to do this - so you create a scapegoat instead in the form of Mike Buck. Buck wasn't responsible for covid or the Mongolian bureaucracy, or right now PC's bureaucracy. They are all forms of sclerotic communist bureaucracy, and MB didn't create the ideology of communism !

By the way, as Proquo said - if you see a few green boxes then don't be tempted to unfilter them temporarily to see what they said. Simply post something relevant about the company, which presumably will be fairly objective and balanced.

I'm going to green box Master82 now as well. He never has anything positive to say. At one stage he set himself up as some kind of fundamental research guru on here, however he has no idea of price action. He takes a snapshot price at a random time of year, and then says something like ' MB took the share price from 13p to 1.6p ' ignoring the fact that the share price has varied enormously between the high and the low every year since the company was listed on the LSE.

Of course he doesn't refer to what he said a while back - that he had a big profit when the share price hit 7p, but in his own words ' I got greedy wanting more.' Presumably that was MB's fault as well, as was covid ?

The reality is that Master - like a few of us - got in too early, when the company was still an explorer wrestling with Mongolian bureaucracy, and then compounded this mistake through simply holding, and not dipping in and out when profits were briefly offered and on the table. I've been briefly in profit in each of my 4.5 years holding this stock, and foolishly just held them regardless of what the charts and the price action showed. For example holding into say October and November has never been a good move over the last few years.

This is exactly right. People mean well, but through engaging directly with the likes of Doc, Stockmaiden, Adw et al they are just giving them exactly what they want - which is attention. It's completely the wrong approach. I green boxed them months ago, and have never responded directly to them since.

People think that they are somehow defending MATD and its prospects through engaging with the bashers, however in reality they are feeding them. The more upset you get with them, the more it gives them a perverse type of pleasure - so don't give them that.

If you green box them then they can only chat amongst themselves. The reality is that what they write won't affect the share price in any way, as a few negative people posting on here isn't going to make any difference to the price action this year anyway with the season starting again following the long winter break. What happens with the sand screens, work on H2, the renewables etc will impact on the share price.

I will see how it goes later in the year, as ideally I don't want to hold many ( or even any ) going into winter again if possible- I've already held for 4.5 years. I think on balance I'm hoping that PC will buy the field, as a JV may mean things will happen faster only next year.

Let's see what they can get out of H1 with the sand screens, and then everything will become clearer thereafter hopefully.

Rockhopper shows on here as being down 11.4% in fact. And that's company whose share price has been going really well recently.

And ORCP down 11.9%.....

Of course the detractors don't ever mention the context - the issue must be MATD and its prospects of course.....In their world at least. LOL.

Rolls Royce 5.95% down in the last 5 days. So quite heavily down over several days rather than just a sharp drop today.

And the AIM index is now half what it was in Sept 2021. Like I said, people with a bit more intelligence look at the overall context - the reality is that the performance of AIM in recent years has been dire. And the index has been down by nearly 5% in the last 5 days.

Yeah right - let's be disingenuous and ignore the whole context - and just pretend that it's a MATD specific red day, though the so called ' bad day ' means just 20K of sells vs 15k of buys.

In the real world out there it's hard to find any company on any index which hasn't had a share price heavily in the red today - and that includes ones which have been going really well lately such as Rolls Royce. And in terms of AIM you will find that a recently very bullish stock such as Rockhopper, is down more than MATD today - 8.96% in the red today in fact. I should think that just about every company on AIM has a share price well in the red today.

£1,900 of MATD shares sold and £1,000 bought, and the MMs mark the share price down by 5.5%.

Why do they do this ? Because with penny share very low volume micro caps they can do pretty much what they like with the price action....

Manx ; actually this should illustrate to people how the MMs can manipulate the share price of very low volume micro cap penny stocks.

There is virtually no activity ( shares trading hands ) yet the MMs are able to mark the share price down by 4%. Unfortunately this type of manipulation is the price that we pay with micro cap penny shares - the price action is very much at the mercy of what the MMs get up to.

Maybe it had something to do with the company not being granted legal access to the land until June last year, plus the tripartite 25 year consent not being granted until earlier this year ?

Would you go into a JV with a company which has no legal access to do work in the area where their business assets are located, and which therefore prevents them from drilling and extracting any oil ? Of course up until recently nobody was interested in a JV.

I think some people need to stop living in the past. I'm also a LTH, but right now I'm interested in the present and future, whereas most of the LTHs you hear from tend to bang on endlessly about what happened previously.

And US oil output has dropped 15% to its lowest level in 15 months ;

Indeed. Hopefully a bit like a ' phantom limb ' with a bit of luck.

Adw and Doc are either working for an entity which wants to take a huge position on a raise, or else they are wanting to take a large position on a raise with their own personal accounts. Or perhaps even both of those.

Just imagine if the sand screens were fitted, and they were suddenly getting 900 bopd from Heron 1.

What would that be ? About $1.2m a month profit ? Or $14m a year. Or $350m over 25 years. The MATD haters would be jumping from windows like bankers did during the Wall Street Crash.....Especially if they didn't get their cherished raise, and therefore couldn't make a their hoped for killing this year.....
