No, I don’t think he will for the right price, as an Investor I think he absolutely should but this is MM after all. Considering the recent report claims that the group could well be worth £4+ within 18/24 months. I think the report is correct and MM will have that on his mind.

Saying no to Apollo, as annoying as that was, always meant that Plan B would eventually come into motion. It’s just frustrating that it’s taking time but these things do take time. Just hope we’re at that point now.

Personally, I think Apollo are out of the picture. I don’t see MM giving up control and I don’t see Apollo not wanting control. None of these parties are small time where they would happily give up their power.

If they plan this well and make the move, it could end up being a master strategic decision and turning down the offer from Apollo would make complete sense.

Just to add, if you’re hoping a whale is going to influence the long term price of this stock then you’re mistaken. Sure, we may see a 5-10% rise but the shorts are in control and it’ll be back into the 60s.

Just take a look at the price movements today, the shorts want this back in the 50s and in this market, they’ll succeed.

Pretty sure he’s referring to what happened with Wood Group with the only comparison being that Apollo made a bid for them before they approached THG.
