Rolls-Royce is to hand £700 worth of shares to all staff as the aerospace giant cheers a successful turnaround.

Chief executive Tufan Erginbilgic said the engine maker will give 150 shares to 'every colleague, in every part of our organisation' in September.

It follows half-year results this week, with Rolls announcing a first dividend since the pandemic.......................

Note - The reason so many other companies want to get UK approval, is because we (the UK) set the highest bar in safety. As such - if you can pass the regulatory framework in the UK, you can definitely pass anywhere else in the world. Fingers crossed for RR's

This message board makes me chuckle some days. £3.50 was RR equivalent ALL TIME HIGH (use google to see). Add a 25% on for inflation and you get £4.37. £5 would be a wonderful price for this share - once divis start again and maybe even higher when new products come on line. But to compare this to a tech company (or tech related company) seems a little daft in my view (Im a engineer by education and a software developer/IT chap by profession) . RR make things, Nvidea , Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, etc - are all based around software (and its potential and services) - which is easier scaled & sold once produced. I don’t knock the Cat for his enthusiasm (£7), but I think £5 a stock would be a fantastic realistic price (given RR history and product). Awaiting flames from the usual suspects

A year ago this week - Rolls Royce was £1.50 and we were all hoping that this would be lift off !

Very interesting to see such high results for Reform - a party which many in a professional environment might not admit too supporting.
