Hi Nigwit. Well spotted. However, i'd take Nanosys' claims with a pinch of salt. They have form when it comes declaring cadmium-free in general, only for it to transpire that they're referencing red dots. If they were 100% cadmium-free they would be singing it from the rooftops. Just my opinion.

The RNS refers to a US listed company. Samsung does have a US listing.

Purely conjecture, but the more I think about it the more I suspect that the as yet undisclosed partner is Samsung, and the novel nano-particles are, in fact, metal-clad CFQDs.

Could the secret partner be Samsung?
