FYI: 'The Board continues to monitor other market participants who may be infringing our IP and, subject to the outcome of the Samsung litigation, they will be pursued vigorously.'
Nanoco have invented a solution processing method(s) for the mass manufacture of 2D nanomaterials such as those mentioned in the above article. If indeed viable, this will be truly game changing and could spark a revolution in the world of advanced electronics.
My point is that if Samsung are using Nanoco's IP to mass manufacture InP Qds then it's very likely that Nanosys are too (if indeed they are producing Qd film containing InP Qds). Or they are obtaining them from Samsung.
Page 2: 'we understand that the Vizio P Series and Hisense U9A and NU9700 ranges of TVs include InP QDs in combination with Cd-based QDs'
The above products utilise Qds/film from Nanosys. It begs the queations: (1) how are Nanosys manufacturing the InP Qds and (2) if they're not manufacturing themselves, where are they obtaining the InP Qds from in order to combine with the cadmium Qds?
It is Samsung Dispaly and not Samsung Electronics that is allegedly selling CFQD enabled (QDOLED) TVs to other OEMs, currently Dell and Sony. The litigation currently in progress is against Samsung Electronics et al regarding their SUHD/QLED range, not Samsung Display.
Coincidence perhaps, but Samsung's QD-Oled televisions are due to ship in the US mid April, just after the publication of Nanoco's interim results and presentation via the Investor Meet Company.
