Another look at the well results this morning.

Of the 5 big producing wells on the GGS, that seem to have not reopened until the 2 week of August and lost 41 days production - taking a simple prorata that 41 days is 3200 barrels.

the well BFU 22-27V (which I have as tied direct to the gas plant) clearly has been offline more than most. A year ago this was doing 3000bpm, but recently only 300-600.

Slow and steady its almost 2 years since they did a 60k month !!!

I'm slightly calmer now, although still very piffed at the result. HOWEVER having had a look over the well numbers looks like most of the big performing wells were still shut down the beginning of August. So despite GGS being installed end of July some wells weren't then reopened for another 10 days !!!

So what was all the carp about GGS installed and performing as expected .... what it was expected to be SH!!t

Nobody was expecting it to be MASSIVELY higher; but certainly higher than the previous utterly terrible months when wells were shut to install the GGS. GGS was completed a week before end of august so there should have been some improvement..

GGS for me wasnt just the Gas part but the long awaited steel pipes so they could work with the higher pressures that they have been holding back on for over a year now. Wheres the immediate 300-600bopd improvement.

utter ****e numbers - spent $4m on the ggs - supposed to the saviour of the field and the numbers are less than july when a lot of wells were shut down because they were installing the ggs.

It was a nonsense 8% rise from the gun this morning, there were no buys only sells (not large ones) so the SP was bound to pull back.

Seems like when JBER aren't running the book the other MM's have no clue as to the direction to take.

Now nearly 4% down and theres only buys for the last hour !!

People need to stop banging on about why aren't production numbers out. Copl have NEVER released official production numbers other than through WOGCC..... and they are due by the end of month following, so probably Monday would be my guess.

I know everyone is desperate to see they have gone up, but as soon as they are out there will be 100's of posts asking were the Sept number are ... grrrrr

It amazes me that people sell right before major news that could change the fortunes here significantly .... are these people that just don't know what's going on or do they need beer money for the weekend?

Bond holders are making money, even down at these levels ... yes they lose on the conversion but they make money because of the interest payment in shares based on VWAP.

They would make a lot more money if the SP was a lot higher, but the minor holders aren't interested in waiting around they are happy making 20-30% now.

Fortunately there are very few minor holders left now

Can't remember exactly but they had said that they were restricting something like 300-600bopd because of the pressure safety issues; so I'm expecting that to come in straight away, not have to wait another 6 months while they slowly turn the taps up
