13th May 2016 165p. 12th May 2017 485p. Share Consolidation was approved 25th September 2017.
And also don't forget the price was 165 in 2016, and then 480 in 2017.
I thought that had happened years ago?
Just to clarify the last post, when I say "during" I mean "possibly/probably attributed to".
Am I right in saying the next TU will include the soccer World Cup revenues? Will it make a difference? If I remember correctly, they had quite good results during one of the US elections.
Because it is a superb buying opportunity
If they are buying back 5000 more shares than they are selling then the price would go up? Algo trading also, I don't understand how an algo trade is any different to any other trade, unless buys are not recorded by that system. There is obviously something I am missing. Please excuse my ignorance here I am pretty new to this.
The small amou t of SOL can't in itself explain the continual price drops, surely?
I don't understand how the shorters manage to keep forcing the price down. Surely the only way to do that now is to borrow yet more, as in a significant amount and sell them? Seems risky.
Drshaggy I don't understand your last post. Please can you be more specific? Please excuse my ignorance I am a bit of a newbie.
Just to add, yes point taken, that companies such as HL etc are not neceserilly shareholders in the form of IIs, they merely represent PIs who are.
My understanding of the nominee system is that if you hold the shares in a nominee account, then you are not the shareholder - in fact it is the broker who is the shareholder? Whereas in the CREST system you are the shareholder. There was a big deal about the nominee system leaving "shareholders" powerless (no voting rights etc). And the broker is then free to lend your shares as well?
STt you keep on about cash in the TU, but isnt that given in the annual results? I would have thought a TU would be.....well a TU. I am not trying to be funny, i genuinely don't know, perhaps someone can enlighten?
Am i right in saying the auction price becomes the close price as it was the last recorded trade price, but thr market settles to a more accurate price at start of trading?
Thanks, i only just noticed the date how silly of me. How do the UTs distort the close down tomorrow, as Rusty implied to toughatthetop that the UTs had distorted it up at close today. Please excuse my stupid qiestions.
Heh heh liquidity issues. Driving the price up right?
Thanks for your articulate reply. That makes sense, even to me.
Two of the trades are listed as being after trading hours, but marked as Ordinary? One of them them was quite a big sell which worries me a bit about a price drop the next day. What does it all mean?
Yes Rusty a downgrade, but at least more realistic in the shortterm therefore hopefully achievable.
finish. One was a surprise, two is almost unbelievable. Excuse me, I think I am going to have to go and lie down for a bit.....Hope it continues.
