I'd say the London market cam certainly be leaky and imagine there will be trades here before the news is fully public.

Don't think there has been a concerted campaign of 'trolls' though, much as it may be a preferable narrative to many.

If things go to plan then it will be hard to manipulate for any cohort - real or imagined.

If there is gas (and/or oil) then it will be a trade sale not the stock market that dictates value to shareholders.

However, if someone can pick up a stake it can be sold cheaply as was Ithaca but even then the pricing of Ithaca assets would be highly remunerative here.

Again if there is a find, Jerry and his pals will likely get heave ho soon enough as others smell the Advisory/Arranging fees - that takes PG out of the equation as they'll dictate the value.

If the drill can communicate with MOU-4 and show consistency it would be a strong indication of a sizeable field.

Travelling so just thinking of a benchmark from top of head - Eco had c.40m barrels after their first Guyana drill. This translated to a £300m ish market cap.

The talk isnof 4TCF/700m boe and dare say if the drill is a success value maybe attributable for 10-15% of that and considering this is onshore that has to be considered a positive.

There wil alas be many in for a quick flip from the various placings and the current 4p. Some of this could have been avoided but we are where we are.

I think the 25-50p range is possible from initial results and there should be ample demand to soak up the flippers who sell on news.

If you flood the market with shares and treat it with disdain the share price will suffer.

Paul isn't good at building bridges which is evidenced by his deranged howling at the moon and ego trip that he can call a public inquiry into the London Stock Exchange practices.

His personality flaws were there for all to see on the 23rd Jan call.

Let's just hope he is as good a geologist as GRH seems to think he is. The share has manifestly looked good news or timely results for over 18 months so here is to the next few weeks bucking that trend.

Very unusual price action for the first day of drilling. Either MMs taking the michael, a seller or any lingering placing shares being dumped before drilling news seeps out.

If the action continues seems it may be more likely a seller but I'd be surprised if so at this stage of proceedings as there won't be much news even to someone with boots on the ground.

Hopefully by a week Fri/Sar/Sun there is something good to analyse. I dare say if there is we would see a bit of movement.

I think the dislocation and crash is more likely to come from Green loans reaching their tail when PPAs expire and possibly SMRs are in operation and fusion is close. That will change the power price landscape markedly and with it the prospect for hundreds of billions of loans to be repaid.

Just for clarity with cash due from Total in stages as drilling nears, 6-7p will be the value per share of cash on balance sheet (before seismic processing for Block 1).

So that would attribute zero value to the possibility of a find in 3B/4B where we are carried to production and funded for 2 drills. Or Guyana or anywhere else.

That would be quite a bargain.

Please don't misread my message to Keith, I was saying it should be on company comms rather than disseminated by Keith. I've said many times Keith's input is useful and elightening and continue to think so.

Keith it begs the question why are you having to.post it. I did check Flagstaff and PRD earlier this morning so if drill bit is turning great but there has been too much vague language in the past to hide issues.
