The question is why are they preliminary, is it because they didn't get gas readings sufficiently where they drilled so now must drill again or because there are gas readings but these are being analysed by NuTech and discussed with partners.

An update that gives no indication of next steps and timing of those leads to uncertainty.

We were also meant to swab MOU-3 but then changed to testing the shallow sands but no mention of this in the RNS and now he is concentrating on T&T which will pay his salary but not much more and doesn't mention when he expects farm out to conclude or what he is doing with funds raised to test which seemingly isn't happening.

As ever, he relies on a few individuals as his fluffers to sell a jam tomorrow narrative. How many tomorrow's does he want shareholders to buy into?

Think the RNS was rushed because of the sightings of demobbed rig as I mentioned earlier.

PG I think quite likes messing with the City and sees it as sport a little bit of fox and hen. However, messing with the institutions that drive the SP which will ultimately drive the basis for value creation is a dangerous game if being done to feed the ego of his belligerence because he ballsed up with Fastnet years ago.

My feeling is there will be further clarification but the dreaded word POTENTIAL which he has so oft repeated when what we want to hear is DISCOVERY makes many concerned about time frames.

We have been told there were 100 people on site some alluding to these being non drilling from interested partners.

So it shouldn't take long to confirm a farm-in. Others touted this as a definitive drill, it seems far from it.

I would say, pictures being reported of the rig being demobbed on site have meant an RNS may have been rushed and analysis continues with more info to come but hasn't blown me away so far.

Won't just be FOMO, as that unlikely to drive SP. Even the denizens of London aren't going to pile six figures in if they'd heard results as they would know the consequences and likelihood of larger trades being flagged.

Positive that it means the liquidity has been squeezed resulting in the SP moing in the right way.

There would be various target depths and we are very likely through at least one of them.

City can take after the pub in Diagon Alley in terms of news (Leaky Cauldron for the uninitiated) and this may be a sign of that or of FOMO trades before the weekend.

Certainly the best day in a while and it should really be that drill is in the zone now Jasper. Day 11 of 12 (subject to change given March guidance) but they should be well in to the first couple of zones you'd expect.

The lead times was more related to flow testing issues.

Appreciate that some of the information needs to be reviewed and independently warranted for release but imagine NuTech are receiving info as it comes in once in the zones which I'd hope they now are.

Testing communication with MOu-4 and pressure readings should give some indication to field size and possible flows. Don't imagine they will wait for flow testing before making any announcements.

For me, it's likely to be a good bit into April before Griffiths decides to report. Given the previously stated 12 days, the longer he goes beyond this the more sime might be concerned.

Let's face it long lead times have usually resulted in poor outcomes in recent history.

12 days is 15th but think he will take his time.

There is a great deal of delusional on here. Many recent buyers will be in based on risk profile and seeking a flip, calling them scum is pathetic we all have our own nut we are looking for.

While exploration is illegal and can be challenged in court with assets seized to compensate, even the most Communist govt would be wise to look at the performance of PDVSA since they stopped paying the experts to run things in Venezuela.

Or you could look at the struggles Russia has with its gas pipeline in Siberia since the onset of sanctions.

Pareto your calculatio would give the stock a value of around 65% of BPs market capitalisation. Now I know BP has underperformed but think that is wildly ambitious/irresponsible.

To be speculating about smoke and flare stacks around Day 5/6/7 too seems as though someone is keen to see price pip from current levels before results.

I've never said there isn't good potential, it's why I am invested. The delays have been the issue and it's the operational competence rather than geological.

If we get 6TCF it's 4.4 net and around 750m boe but onshore.

We won't see anything like the full value but if the current drill and shallow sands prove up I think 50p is possible in April/May and if there are truly partners for subsequent drills then perhaps more beyond that time frame.
