I see that one time darling EMH is being hit hard and the low lithium price hardly bodes well for deep underground mining of granite based resource.

I would agree that your own entry price is bound to be important to you. Not forgetting that no one forced you to buy at that price, whatever it might have been, 1p 4p, 12p, 16.6p or 20p + in old AME days

Appreciate that we may all be wondering about the lack of positive returns currently and the cheerleader Pom poms can remain in the kitbags for the time being, but if you (generic) are investing in lithium (as a sector) and Europe as a supply chain region, then I would suggest that SAV has been, is and remains one of, if not the best of a small and reducing list of remotely viable option. I can only imagine what might be said if you were invested in some of the other European options.

That said, in your opening post you say that ‘the entire market at large is up’ but you don’t provide a date to judge that from. Hence the reference to the chart and its variety of benchmarks. In general the whole lithium market has been dreadful in recent history with very few that have not seen red returns, so I am intrigued to understand your own start date that leads to your assertion.

Usually one would expect a full rundown from the massed ranks of Boticas ex pats, texting in their support and opposition to the economic revival of their parents and forefathers’ legacy that they were happy to abandon previously.

The Keliber lithium project in Finland, majority-owned by Sibanye-Stillwater, secured a €500 million green loan, completing its financing. This project will produce lithium hydroxide by 2025, supporting the EU’s battery supply chain and Finland’s National Battery Strategy 2025.

There has been little point in getting heavily involved with promotion previously with so many loose strands to be sorted so it is good to see that they are now preparing for their future role in the battery chain as all those strands come together, as they will do over the coming few months.

From an article a couple of weeks ago when Portugal was supposedly setting forth its mining plans “ Asked if the new government intends to proceed with the lithium auction, Carvalho cited the need to see the final strategic plan and base any decision on scientific and technical data.”

In an article in Portugal Resident just after the ‘reveal’ they then pointed to a current Public Consultation that apparently came as a surprise to the e-lobbyists which is due to finish on Sep 5th, so doubt much will be forthcoming until well after then as the results will need to be collated, digested, poured over, cogitated, reviewed again and no doubt disputed.

There may be other info to drop in the meantime but auctions, I would doubt.
