"Operating losses increased by Β£78k compared with the same period last year, primarily due to the onboarding of new staff and the subsequent increased use of external contractors while internal staff were being trained and the right balance of full time employees to contract wins is optimised".
Double speak for more contracts won, more staff needed, which means increased losses.
Revenue of Β£498k over the last 6 months reported. (which is all spent on salaries) Operating loss of Β£327k.
The company may indeed do what it says and increase turnover by 100% but where does that leave them? Still unprofitable.
This is NOT a going concern. More contracts bring more expenses and increased losses. It always has and nothing has changed.
