No one wanted to buy the whole company as it's naff !!

The drive seems to be away from using biodegradable bags and using reusable ones instead. I don't think that will work as people are lazy when it comes to shopping. I have 100k shares in LSB that thinks it will rise well once disposal is announced ... happy to wait.

I heard interims out in 2 - 3 weeks. I started to smell a rat too so i got out with a good profit yesterday.

Pro :- Will same company quite a bit on listing fees ... Con :- Some investment managers can't trade on AIM so they may be forced to sell. Swings and roundabouts .. short term volatility but should be best in the long run IMHO

I sold my last lot at 26.5p just before the released the killer RNS. Russell O'Connell is a bloody idiot. Only a week or so ago he said the price was "bloomin joke" then issued an RNS saying no reason for the rise... shame he didn't put that the current SP devalued the company in it's current state. The SP is now bombing ... will be a good mid to long term share regardless.

SEO - Don't like .. seems slightly ramped, LSB - Disposal news due before EOM IMHO - Holding these, SEY - Looks to be going places ... i would take some profits at current levels though as it has risen well recently, EEL - as i have said .. my fave ... best long term buy i know, TRP - Wouldn't touch it with someone elses bargepole - said it was heavily ramped and would drop today .. can see it dropping back to 5 - 6p before EOM. All IMHO

I can even feel your excitement on this one. I have been going well this year ... bought NNG under 1p and sold at 2.8p ... bought IVE at 2.65p and sold at 4.1p 3 days later ... MYH i bought at 16 - 17p and still holding .. i bought a lot on a T3 on friday and have sold all that for a £2k profit in one day. I have two other shares in my portfolio ... LSB, which i average about 10.75p which i think will do very well over the next week or so and EEL, my baby, i bought at an average of 6.25p so i am 50% up from Friday but that is my investment stock and even though it may go down it should be multiples of 10p next year. Buy for the mid to long term ... look for at LEAST 3 - 6 months ... maybe up to a year or more. I trade my other stocks but i won't trade this one. To me this is a VERY good long term buy.

Mine was the 20k sell at the peak. The T3 trade on friday i bought at 26.5p ... very happy with that. This is nearly double where i bought it ... i can see it hitting 31/32p again today. As well as the T3 i still have my core holding from 16/17p. Looks like they took it up there quick to grab my 20k LOL EEL is showing a 60% profit and LSB, although down 6% currently ... still may come good in a week or so. I am liking the stock market at the moment. Regards IHNC

Yup and covered before that in a letter to shareholders. I have never liked consolidation ... 9 out of 10 of them drop 25 - 50% within a few weeks of the event. The company say it makes investing more competitive and more interesting to larger investors but in decreasing the spread due to a larger SP all they do is make it easier to sell. I do have a question on consolidation that someone may be able to answer. Say a share is 20p and on the 19th May it is going to be consolidated at the rate of 10 to 1 so every 10 shares at 20p become 1 at 200p. Say this person had a Limit order to sell at 25p .... do all limit orders get cancelled before the consolidation or do they immediately get changed from 25p to 250p on the 19th May ???

On PLUS there are a lot of small £1k trades - which is a good sign - shows the MM's don't have many shares and the brokers are buying in small to avoid any premiums of larger orders. Should bode well for today. I agree the rise seems to be down to that article, and as MYH is still at the market cap of Chips Away on it's own, it should add more momentum. I have heard results are 2 - 3 weeks away according to "Knowing" on the ADVFN board.

I didn't know about it as i am not interested in PRTY but when you have scouser screaming SELL due to the rise and others wishing they had got in, and you seemed to question why it rose, then i do worry about how much people know about the stock market. If you knew then that's fine but i wish people, when they see a rise like this .. first think - has there been a consolidation ?

It shocks me how little people know what a share consolidation is and they are supposed to be traders and investors. Most think that it is either a mistake or they missed a 10 bagger or so when a consolidation takes place. All you have to do is look through recent RNS's for the answer. 9th April for this snippet In addition, enclosed with the 2007 annual report, PartyGaming shareholders have been sent a circular giving notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting (the "EGM") to be held immediately after the AGM, to seek approval for: (i) the consolidation of the Company's share capital, replacing every ten existing ordinary shares of 0.0015 pence each with one new ordinary share of 0.015 pence each ("New Shares"), including a consequential change to the Company's memorandum of association (the "Share Capital Consolidation"); and

And what would the press say ... so and so went up blah blah %. Surely they will wait until the results and then have something to print. All being well they are slightly better than expected but even if expected still very good for current market price. And upgrade in price from Equity Development may help a little more too.

But i have set my highest block of shares to sell at 45p ... if i don't get that for a while i don't mind waiting ... just would like it to be 30p or over my tuesday ... i don't know if i can afford the toilet paper past then LOL
