I have seen companies suspend their shares when received an offer then mention the price and unsuspend ... anyone saying differently clearly doesn't know much IMHO

Also, you can suspend for a day ... you seem to assume a lot ... also, when you imagine your scenario you imagine THG being valued fairly which I do not think it ever will by the markets.

If it was suspended and news of offer at 7am the margin calls would kick in at 8am and there would be a rush to offload the shorts pushing the price higher meaning they would burn even more ... that is why I say it is the ultimate scenario :)

Dangerous ? Drinking while drunk is dangerous. Sliding down a razor blade using your balls as brakes is dangerous. Doing a few simple maths to see how undervalued THG is is certainly NOT even slightly dangerous.

I disagree about the rise not being justified though. Some people have zero patience.

They did this over 80p. I do not feel the rise is over or that it has been overdone.

One bad day shows weak holders so easily ...look at the trend not the intraday as it is gone the next trading day.

This always happens after a share has been battered for a long time and then changes things around .. you get the poor weak shorters turn up trying to drag the price down when it is far too late now to do that
