If Boo can create their own tech IP for this platform then, this is going to fly as it is its an online clothes shop that will do well, his the owners 5B level for their pay out I'm sure, however, for this to get to the multiples that THG and Ocado etc, boo needs some serious tech IP, for example an ecommerce platform that enables them to beat the market.

I hope I am wrong, but its the same business that got into this issue, what's to say they get approval and repeat it again with FCA approval, thats a risk I'm not sure the FCA is prepared to take, they are already in hot water for approving schemes that caused widow's and pensioners to loose millions, the FCA doesn't take risks it enforces rules, and unless Amigo can find a way of complying then we are toast with or without settlements, I think this because the current situation is bad, but it could be a lot worse in 2 years time if Amigo lends and repeats the problem.

I guess the biggest defence we have is that within Amigo there is enough FCA experienced management to have credibility of not repeating , a glimmer of hope perhaps.

Think I've seen this before with companies that fall foul of the FCA and other bodies, I'm holding a small investment because its a great business if it can find an approved way to lend, however, the FCA I feel is likely to take twice as long as we have and come to an decision / outcome that is too rich for Amigo's lender / future , in which case I have a feeling its only downwards from here. considering what 2020 threw at Fev it has done brilliantly , with 2021 only going to be ahead of 2020 (optimistically in terms of lockdowns etc), so we may yet see fev re rate above the 2500 ceiling.

completely agree, its expensive, but a dual listing would see a big step up for boo, especially if they are truly to become a global player and go after the US market, ideally through acquisition as opposed to build out like ASOS.

Based on the last figures dividend cover ws negative , I'm a medium term holder that is seeking a return to £4 a share over the medium term and maintenance of the dividend

Constant bashing of boo will end in a great british business being sold on the cheap and turned into a US superstock without regard to UK law, tax and prospects.

I'm pretty sure if a detective follows every CEO in the UK they will be able to identify questionable activity in these times, but it always seems to be boo.

All I would say that this is probably a buying opportunity and every drop in share price makes Boo a bigger M&A target for a competitor that wants a big foothold in europe and especially the UK , with an estimated 100B saved up by wealthy brits there has probably never been a better time in which to buy Boo.

Management needs to think before they do, they seem to be getting caught with every turn, but in all honesty this is a great british business and should be being supported not torn to pieces, eventually the owners will have a enough and sell up and hand over the problem to a US company that will drive this without thought to anything british like taxes and workers.

A smart move might be to invite the guardian down to the supply chain monitoring teams office and work through the problem with them, perhaps find a ethical individual that can be put in the group to push the standard to turn this aspect of boo into a positive story, because if boo solve the ESG issues, I believe the price will no longer be held back.
