Has to be sold off, cutting some labels probably unwise from a brand point of view as the reason why boo bought the brands is because they have value, but to get rid of the stock and sell lesser brands at higher brands prices.....is a money making move, get cash in the door and get rid of the stock, I actually think that this will significantly add to the bottom line.
It sounds like it was a planned move, in which case a master stroke to get cash in the door but at what cost to the brands, time will tell.
I suspect that most of the customers that buy from boo are unlikely to spend must time reading the news, re opening in coming and "everyone" wants to look great initially in the pub garden followed by on the beech or in the park, boom time for retailers physical and online for a 6 month period in my view.
Patience as ever the key to unlocking profits, the II's are just waiting , the next phase is likely to be consolidation in 2022, which provides the next level up for Boo.
