Great Western Mining Corporation PLC (AIM - GWMO, Euronext Growth - 8GW), which is exploring and developing gold, silver and copper targets in the Walker Lane belt of Nevada, USA, is pleased to announce that on 16 July 2024, late in the day Pacific Time, the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection ('NDEP') issued a Notice of Decision with regard to Western Milling LLC's proposed operations in Nevada. Western Milling LLC, which is 50% owned by Great Western, has constructed a mill for processing precious metal concentrates from mining waste at Sodaville, adjoining the small town of Mina, Nevada.

NDEP has decided to issue a new Water Pollution Control Permit to Western Milling LLC authorising the construction, operation and closure of approved mining facilities. The Permit will become effective on 31 July 2024 subject to any appeals which must be filed by 26 July 2024. Western Milling is authorised to process up to 18,000 tons of ore per year. No objections to the permit were lodged during the 30-day consultation period which ended on 10 July.

As soon as the permit is effective, Western Milling LLC will commission the mill to enable gravity processing operations to commence.

Great Western Chairman Brian Hall commented: "With no objections filed, we will shortly be in a position to begin the commissioning process. I would like to thank shareholders for their patience and our partners and our own personnel for their perseverance. We very much look forward to commencing operations on site and will provide further updates as we move towards production."

The distribution of the aggregate ceiling of the Budget for the Central Administration in the 2025 State Budget is based on the sectors defined by the Government Program and the National Strategic Development Plan, with the Social Capital Sector receiving an allocation of 38%, followed by the Institutional Framework Sector, with 36%, Infrastructure Development 16%, and Economic Development, with 10%.

The 2025 State Budget Bill is expected to be submitted to the National Parliament by October 1, 2024.

On 15 July 2024, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Francisco da Costa Monteiro, accompanied by the Chief Executive of TIMOR GAP, EP, and the Municipal Authorities of Covalima, accompanied Steve Bracks, Australia’s Special Representative for the Greater Sunrise Project, on a visit to key sites on the south coast, including the future Suai supply base, community housing projects and onshore drilling operations. Physical surveys and geotechnical investigations are currently being carried out on both land and sea for the construction of the Suai supply base, which covers a total of 414 hectares. The results will be submitted for laboratory analysis before progressing to the bidding process in August or September. Steve Bracks, invited by Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, visited the South Coast to observe the implementation of integrated projects under the Tasi Mane initiative. This visit coincides with the ongoing development of the conceptual study by the UK-based company Wood. The Australian Government Representative was impressed with the investments made by the Government of Timor-Leste in Covalima and acknowledged that the development model will be further evaluated based on the ongoing conceptual study and ongoing technical discussions. Minister Francisco Monteiro highlighted that the phased investments on the south coast will facilitate the transportation of gas to Timor-Leste and develop the national oil industry. The Government's investments began with the construction of Suai Airport, the initial section of the highway and the Suai supply base. In the near future, the Government will continue the Covalima motorway project to the site of the LNG plant, petrochemical complex and refinery in Natarbora. This infrastructure is an important component of the South Coast project. The visit also included the community housing construction site in Suco Holbelis, in the Municipality of Covalima. The project is scheduled to run from June to March 2026. The team also observed the community housing model built for victims affected by the airport construction process.The Liurai oil well was also inspected, where Timor Resources, in partnership with TIMOR GAP, EP, has been making technical discoveries since 2021 and will continue for commercial matters. The delegation also visited the oil well located in Suai Loro.

Australian Government Representative Looks at Developments on the South Coast

In the near future, the Government will continue the Covalima motorway project to the site of the LNG plant, petrochemical complex and refinery in Natarbora. (Betano area) This infrastructure is an important component of the South Coast project.

Super Major Shell , on successfully discovery drilling CH-1, Chuditch in 1998, gave all follow on wells 100% cos, with more leads and a lot of upside beyond our area of coverage so far, CH-2 is not a blind hole in the ground, its in a six times thicker section that CH1, flows will be great and GIIP figures will increase , a lot.

Shell had assets on Chuditch license on full development likely BIGGER than Sunrise license, small operation now 1-2 wells, ffd likely to be as Shell planned for Sunrise 26/28 Wellheads to Darwin/FLNG Ship.

Chuditch the only field in the Timor Leste section of the Timor Sea that is a discovery , appraisal to production drill ready, as far as infrastructure goes, TL Gov have refused ALL OPTION, for over 20 years, holding out for Sunrise/Beaco/Betano onshore Timor. (tenders 2030/31)

So why when they had a FREE 25% carry on Chuditch would they NOW (Not wait) Farm up to 40% and start paying their way, if it is not to advance Chuditch ASAP for their own gain, be that Domestic security/Metinaro plan or just good old fashioned REVENUES and taxes, they now desperately need, to fill the gap until Sunrise/Beaco , if it does, becomes a reality not just a one sided , decades long pipe line dream.

Why? start paying for something now, if they still have their original Beaco 3 field plan Sunrise, Chuditch and bigger than both put together Kelp , all to be coordinated to supply Beaco Together (circa 2030/31)

The plan has obviously changed, again why spend money NOW, when the IMF and World bank telling them to CUT budget spending, to preserve the Island fund to beyond 2030 (2034 with cuts)

Can only be they plan to spend, to get something beneficial out of it EARLIER, even if its just basic desperation for NEW REVENUES, adopt Sunda's FPSO plans and put money back into their fund ASAP from Chuditch production. ????

Likewise, you can only raise shares (numbers of) based on the ceiling put in place at AGM/EGM's, if not enough headroom another GM with resolutions to raise more is required. Again Market 1.01
