RE: Beaco - Natarbora Motorway LNG17 Jul 2024 10:22
Bracks was specifically chosen to mediate, being a very long standing buddy of Gusmao, as we all know, Gusmao and Horta only have eyes for project Tasi Mane onshore Timor Leste, as promised Woodside said ALL OPTION's will once more be reviewed.
Fingers crossed , Meg and OZ, do the right thing this time, or move out of the way. Timor have spent BILLIONS building ANPM/Timor Gap workforce from 4 to hundreds each ready for its own up/mid/downstream industry , plus all the infrastructure already in place, ports, roads, highways airport etc, will not go down well with the locals and NGO's if Meg still goes for another option.
Just the big bucks Tasi $16 - $18 Billion , Metinaro a few billion and Natarbora not seen any costing, to be funded by
Australia , China BRI level 2 , or others, offers include promises to Horta from Abu Dhabi , Kuwait , Qatar, all of whom have the deep pockets and long standing expertise, to get it done.
Look forward to that Horta and Xi meeting (27th July) and a China reveal the deal , at last, fingers crossed. Any Tasi Mane or Metinaro infrastructure FUNDING , is good for us and Chuditch moving forward.
Last timelines Sunrise/Beaco 2030/31 , Metinaro 2025/26 , with Chuditch Drilling Dec 2024 - sliding to Jan 2025, if as Andy conveyed, the user of the rig before us, delays hand over, as many do due to their operational requirements, beyond SNDA control.
