Warrants will always get excised if they get the chance.
For most of the wonga's (investors my arse) in placing's these days, warrants are just a secondary placing, to a current placing event, only the excise date unknown, they get another cheap bite of the cherry, like most placing, usually forward sold down from a high, the company , assured down range funding, if they meet the target, for the wonga, cost's them NOTHING upfront, no target met, they just let them lapse.
Most of the real II and financial houses pulled back in the late 90's, giving rise to the modern pump and dump WONGA's investors my arse, gone asap with profits from on high down, quite happy to go below the placing price, if made enough of their target, on the way down. Little to no interest in what a company may or may not do in the future, just their own agenda and bottom line vig.........GLA
