As big Al said way back when, it will be a case of too much demand and not enough supply. All test developers/manufacturers will do well. No chance only 1 test will be rolled out at this pace.

Seems to me the government are doing a PR blitz ahead of the 5th to gage public opinion. Hopefully they’ve realised by now that vaccine passport is absolutely the wrong term. People are so wound up about it. I know we’re in a testing bubble but the idea of paying a fiver for a test and being able to get on a flight, what’s not to love.

Yes you can contribute before transfer as long as you can prove the transfer is in progress. Be mindful with B&I because of the spread and CGT. Looks like the CGT reforms aren’t coming so look to complete over 2 tax years to use 2 allowances.

You have to transfer the full amount of what you’ve contributed this tax year, which essentially means you have 1 ISA for the tax year. Unless you’ve contributed to a cash ISA as well. But I’m sure you’re not that daft ;)

You can contribute to the new one once transferred.

I think having the data in the public domain would support a bid for tender. More likely that tech transfer is due to complete imminently and Avacta will be trying to grab a few hundred mil in the new year when clinical evaluation is done. We’re getting closer but still a while off.
