Agreed about the jingly stuff droverman. Though the way the world works these days I don't even think they can open the tills without power, I'd defo rather have gold or silver or cash physical for trade in a serious crisis, I just don't think it's as straight forward as the supermarkets start taking bullion over the counter. The truth is in that scenario ain't nobody paying with anything, I for one would just be walking out with what I needed.
As for the 'digital gold apps' I'd have more trust with letting Gary Glitter babysit but thats just me. :-)
Just shows you how bad this country is at the moment the tories spent the last two years shouting at labour for their 'ridiculous' plan to scrap the non dom status only to later implement it as they see it as a win in the public eyes.
The isa system is semi decent, but your still better off elsewhere, it may encourage some with extra cash to invest here, but this country is so inherently corrupt I think we are royally fudged and are looking at economic wipeout no matter what, people are now actively encouraging their kids to get the hell out of here and its only a matter of time before that level of brain drain takes it toll.
Never mind voting for reform to "stop the boats coming in" it's just a matter of time before they are stopping to boats going out.
If I didn't have commitments here i'd be long gone.
It's all a shambles.
Well maybe, a majority labour government with the SNP as the opposition and the conservative party banished to the history books for their sheer and utter economic incompetence will be more up your street.
I for one wish we were back in 2000 but thanks to this absolute blunder of 14 years we might acheive that level of economic success and investment in our crumbling infrastructure again in the next 20 years.
But who knows...
Yup I'm having more at this price thank you very much.
I could care less about what your all waffling we've been here before and this was always a long position.
Lassonde curve coming to a final push as we head to production, if you know you know.
John if you feel that way about verbally abusing posters then its probably best to avoid verbally abusing posters because their views differ to yours.
You can't hold any high ground when you literally did it in the same paragraph as the one your complaining about it in.
I got an email from wallstreet saying this.
On the 9th of January, Michael Borrelli sold around 19m shares on-market at roughly UK£0.083 per share. This transaction amounted to 42% of their direct individual holding at the time of the trade
Hey TT respect your reply, and I wasn't suggesting you were biased or ill informed just that every argument I've seen against genuine crypto have generally been that, personally I hate seeing comments on here regarding crypto as if it going up or down somehow magically correlates to gold when it has no basis in fact.
I do understand that others have a different view to my own and I genuinely respect their opinions but alot of people like to comment on crypto have very little knowledge of it and tend to only spout some nonsense they read in the daily mail.
Like everything in this world it's open to those trying to cash in or scam others into a get rich scheme but it's true concept is original and noteworthy for future industry and technology, in years to come I firmly believe those original sceptics will be looking back at genuine crypto like those who said computers will never take off. It is still in it's infancy and will take time to perfect and shake off it's imperfections and those looking to exploit others but this is the way of everything in this world when it comes to finances imho.
Nah I disagree and honestly I personally find people who hold that view to be either ill informed or strongly contradictory when It comes to similar.
By all means your entitled to your opinion but every argument I've had or seen has been so biased and ill informed that its genuinely laughable.
Don't like it, don't buy or hold it. It's simple really. It's kinda of like being angry at vegeterians because they don't like meat.
Pointless and acheives nothing, and I say this as someone who doesn't hold any crypto.
Yeah honestly I wouldn't hold your breathe. It's unlikely to happen, in fact it would appear Crypto is strengthening and making it's way into the mainstream insofar as being seriously considered by most countries.
Its much better to embrace these things rather than continually attacking them on false pretenses. PM's and Crypto preexist and the quicker you embrace that the better because its not going away.
