WSBN (I know you’re in there too) is speculative but honestly the consistent (and actually improving grades) here with OMI imo makes this is nailed on for a decent MRE and re-rate. These drill results are a bit special. Just sit tight and wait.

There’s another poster (Troajan) that stays clear of these sort of plays as miners that start producing meet all sorts of teething problem and need more money.

They also often don’t meet the guidance or expectations - as had happened here.

Again steps have been taken by the management team to improve things (new ops team and more HL pads) making this a potential real turn around and at a daft SP and MCAP and buoyed by the high gold price….

Why check they are drilling in the direction defined by the geologist? Umm - if they don’t they will have to re-drill at their own cost??!! Also lose some credibility as a professional drilling team.

As already said you are querying why a professional drilling outfit are behaving in a professional manner, and using it to say ‘there’s no gold’ - poor effort Dicko.

They don’t suddenly change drilling direction cos of what they are or are not finding. They don’t suddenly start drilling random new holes at random directions hoping to hit something. That takes time and money that is not in the contract!!!

The drill angle and direction is predetermined and led - by the geologist - the only variable may well be the drill depth. There may be contingency to go deeper if the cores are encouraging.

If I had I might have spotted the RSI divergence before this rise. We do look like we’ve broken the downtrend but as we all know we need a good gold pour to really change the direction on the SP.

Hopefully the buying indicates a leaky ship.

MH01 - yes it takes money but if the grades are like GGP the share price will rocket and funds can easily be raised.

You don’t pay for a crew to come and drill to the start of the target. They will drill into it.

Dicko - they have said target zone. Not target depth. They are targeting a zone of gold that starts at 550m and so they are drilling to that zone now.

Final depth will be determined in part by what they see coming out the ground - so they don’t have a target depth.

They are not drilling to the start of the mineralisation then packing up and going home without testing the depth of the dome.

So - at present drilling TO the TARGET ZONE. We have NOT been given a TARGET DEPTH (final depth) they are drilling to…

Last week we had posters here implying the drill wouldn’t happen as th board are dodgy.

He has - probably made other calls not so good.

The main value for me in his charts is the ‘lower risk entry reversal zone’ which for OMI has been and gone but I’d argue that after the recent drilling results buying now is even lower risk!!

So now the main value in his charts are the price targets but I think any one of us could have guessed them based on the previous high. Of course sustained high gold drilling results will blow the previous high out the water…
