Buy quantities are pitiful. If the Directors really thought this was going anywhere soon then they would have bought a hell of a lot more.

it really should be worth a punt long before now let alone if it falls further. Come on Petrofac, put out a Trading Update to take the wind out of these increased Short positions. Because, if Shorters are increasing their positions when the price is so low .... then we investors should really start to get worried; shouldn't we????

Something is going on .... over £12m in buys after 16.35

I'm amazed at NEX. No declared Shorts greaterthan 0.5% and good recent broker ratings; and yet it still tanks. You would think from the last weeks performance it would be heavily shorted. I have a strong investment here at an average of 1.48 and I'm staying put. I do believe that once confidence returns, this will rocket. This is one business where it it just a matter of time.

Amazing isn't it. Could you imagine if the Criminal Justice System worked with these same rules. That the Police could charge you, the CPS could decide to prosecute, you could be put on Bail, everyone would know you were charged and would want nothing to do with you, that the police could then have another 5 -7 years to conclude their investigation before the CPS confirm they really want a court case. It would be f***ing incredible. But this is exactly what the SFO is allowed to do. The Govt seriously needs to change the SFO rules. At the minimum, if no charges brought after 1 year then the case is dropped. This shouldn't be difficult as for the SFO to open a case they must have had evidence to start with. I won't hold my breath!!

Equity is mentioned as an option; but it is exactly that .... an option as it is with all businesses. There is no forecast plan for an equity raise. the Co has a lot of Debt 'headroom' before it needs to look at equity. What is does also show, is that this is at least a 2-3 year path to get back to where we were at the start of 2020.

Co forecasting to 2022 without need for RI. Summary reads pragmatic and realistic. The business is a going concern and will remain so.

PhatStyle. Thanks for the news re Shorts. I always thought LSE took it's Short Data from Short Tracker so didn't look there; but apparently not.

Thanks for the attachment PhatStyle. However, I don't understand how you translate the Govts concern over liquidity into £1 per share value? The 'Market' doesn't seem to share your view. If this business was so illiquid it would be Shorted like hell (currently No significant Shorts) and would have some pretty tough Broker Downgrades.

Sold £8m, Bought £13m as of 13.25pm. One would have thought that if buying demand is greater than the need to sell then prices would rise .... apparently not.

Cash position plus potential RI means that this business is and will remain a Going Concern. Invest with confidence!!

ps No major shorter has increased their position since Feb' 20. This tells me they didn't see it falling this far and they have no idea where the bottom is. They are not cashing in yet because, well, why would you right now. They are well up and can stand fluctuations until the SFO are finished.

PFC SP hovering around 15-200 is the norm for now but I think a short term norm. Even with the SFO dragging on this, prior to CV19 the floor was 400. I think once a vaccine is out and things start to pick up we will move back to 400 pretty fast. All a matter of holding one's nerve. I'm in at 190, still very cheap. And, by the way, once the SFO F's Off, this may climb back to it's old trading range of 800-1000.

I wouldn't worry too much about RR as an investment. It is a strategic business. There are Zero significant Shorts. I recall in 2014 wishing I'd bought this when it was between 500-600 as it then started to climb to 1000. I'm averaged in at 278, what a F***ing bargain.

I wouldn't pay much attention to the Shorts when looking at Bab****. None of them have increased their positions since Feb when the shares were at about 600. Why haven't they cashed out yet? They are winning even if the shares go up some and may be hedging against other investments.

Well I have to hand it to you; you are well ahead of the Hedge Funds. If 50p will be the floor, how come there are no significant Short Positions on NEX? This was 250 in June and will be again soon. NEX is on the floor at 150.

The 'Markets' are interesting right now, to say the least. After watching them for years being concerned with the longer economic outlook, they are now very reactive to short term events/data. It is now highly likely multiple vaccines will be available pre xmas. The Russians stated this week they may start using one on health workers from Monday 3rd August. So, if the vaccinations start this year and the world is vaccinated next year, I think CV19 will quickly become history and air traffic will rebound sooner rather than later. Furthermore, the knowledge being gained by these global 140 research businesses will practically mean the next generation vaccines will be pretty much on the shelf. Bottom line; although things look bad now, I believe economies will bounce back faster than expected. Once vaccinations start SP's will start to climb fast based on future normality in spite of the economic difficulties experienced so far.

By the way, I'm averaged in here at 205. Under water yes, but lets face it, if we were offered these shares at that price in January we would have jumped at it. 205 is cheap and the capital growth and dividends over the next few years are going to be amazing . In the future, I'm sure some will say, "do you remember the time in 2020 when you could buy IAG shares at under 200".
