Let's face it, if you were talking doom and gloom over the last two and a half years versus sunlit uplands optimism, then you were more likely to be right.

Holding THG requires the, same unfounded optimism as buying a lottery ticket. "It could be you" but it probably won't be.

To be fair Crafty, @moniman has a point.

I worked with and know Roger Whiteside, before his Greggs turnaround. And he did more for Greggs by introducing Coffee and Vegan Sausage rolls than anything THG has done. Roger is a consummate retailer.

I don't know what MM is, just believe he thinks he's a Bezos mini me. Just not happening pouring all that cash into a tech bottomless pit.

Any of the THG BOD are welcome to buy all my shares from me cheap.

I'll let anyone of you have the lot for 170. After all, MM himself said that was cheap 2.5 years ago, so it must be an absolute bargain now.

SP is the company with most other companies.

I think this comes from when Bezos said it about Amazon.

I also think MM thinks THG is some sort of junior Amazon and all will just come right one day. But it isn't and as long as all profits and then some gets poured into the very hungry Ingenuity it will not pick up.

That paragraph could have been cut and pasted from any update by THG over the past 3 years. In short, nothing changes.

I have never in my life come across a Co with so many alleged opportunities which then over the course of 3 years delivers no shareholder added value i. e. SFA. And, in spite of being ashamed of this, the BOD repeatedly rewards itself. You would think from the share awards, they had just achieved the mother of all turnarounds.

Let's face it. Gordon Ghekko was right, it's a dog with fleas. I really can't fathom why the 65%'s are still here.

Well @moniman, it's only been a few years since they said that about 170. So be fair, give it time. 🤔

I purchased one of those new AI laptops. Cost me £4k.

I put in all Markets, Economic, Competitor data, etc. Took me ages. I asked AI to forecast when THG would next reach a £1/share valuation.

It said 2145. 🤣🤣🤣

Well we all know that the issuance of these shares Will Not be Performance related. So what are they for????

If THG is wildly under-valued and everyone knows it's wildly under-valued, then why is it still wildly under-valued?

Surely, what we mean is, THG has identifiable unrealised potential. And, it is this potential we are waiting for the BOD to realise.

But for now, the value is correct.

We are well into year 3 of no improvement in shareholder value.

This worse than Burberry!

Yup we are in our 3rd year of zero growth in shareholder value and no dividend. Nothing to show for investing in this Co except SP dilution.

I was also thinking, the division which needs to be floated separately is Ingenuity. It's the one sucking the life out of THG.

Strong performance by thg BOD. Now mid year through 3rd year of no increase in shareholder value. Consistency. Take a bow boys n girls.

If they are buying this stock, then clearly someone with a lot of patience!

THG isn't going up anytime soon until it can start to show, or approach, +ve Operating Margins and ROCE. you know, the fundamentals of a successful and sustainable business performance. Add to that a Dividend and we are really on our way. We are a long way from this organically and the much wished for capital event hasn't appeared.

I really don't know when the above are going to come but I won't hold my breath for the next business update; that will likely be a lot more hot air and more jam tomorrow.

I think they are all too busy patting each other on the back for keeping the share price 'stable' at 60p. Quite an achievement to do this for over 2 years.

If yesterday's announcement represents Leadership and growth at THG I'd hate to see what failure looks like.

Well, seems like it helped Frasers shareholder value. After all, it was Frasers great deal, not ours.

But, but, the BOD were re-elected by about 95% so who am I to disagree. It must all be going well, it's I who just can't see it.
