A hostile take over won't be that cheap. So let us say they start buying at 0.1p, it will rush to 0.15p pronto.
As we know, 0.15p is when Placees start dumping shares. I assume they only need 51% to take over the company, so let's say the strippers end up paying 0.2p for later shares to ge to 51%.

Another alternative is for Multicom, or some other licensee, to decide to take over AXM, because it's cheaper to buy AXM than paying royalties.

If it comes to insolvency, the receivers should still be able to firesale the patents for something.
Let us say £3m for the patents, £1m goes on admin fees, and we get 0.1p per share back.

If the royalties finally come through, in year five, and you get 1p per share,
10million shares are worth £100k, but the return on capital is infinite, because

£100k / £0 down = Infinity.

I love no money down scenarios.

Easier to achieve using 100% mortgage on a BTL, before the tax regime turned hostile.

Anybody can get 3~4% on money invested.
