It's a late reported BUY from 10.08 - it will have been a negotiated by from when the spread was 2.7 -2.9.
It is probably the catalyst for the spike earlier.

Seller cleared I would say. This could re-rate quickly if the buying continues at these levels...

I think we are locked in a game of poker with the DRC at the moment.

We may have LOI for the licence, but as DS stated in a pod cast a few weeks ago, the details of the new licence are likely to be horrible until negotiated to a more acceptable and reasonable aspect.

The only card we have is to put a hold on any further development or commencement to oil production.
If we give that away lightly we will never get a good deal.
I think they are also withholding detail on the CPR until this is finalised.

The DRC want this well to go into production asap - however, we would be mad to do so until we have a decent agreement on the licence.

Before we spend another dollar, or make any further move to confirm what we have, we need a decent signed and confirmed Licence....

Someone clearly desperate to keep this down....

Must admit I have sold all of my 11m holding.
Bitterly disappointed with the way this has been handled, and the notification of no more quarterly updates was the final straw.
Think this will slowly drift a lot lower until they get a replacement offtake. If one ever materialises.
Its all on hope of them getting a good deal, and their hands are pretty much tied until they rid themselves of SSGI, of which I now suspect they are in default to.

How can AP claim that he represents the best interest of shareholders, when he has a clear conflict with his personal partial ownership of some of our assets...????

Corporate Restructuring prior to Refinancing....
I read into that, that Pickstone is going to be divested to SSGI, thus ridding us of that particular millstone.
That should give us the clarity to move forward with a new offtake on Manaila, with immediate cashflow and benefits.
Then bring on the Diamonds later in the year and Baita Pai.

Not what we wanted short term, but Sensible move IMHO
