It was 2.85 to buy at the time I wrote, and you are correct the spread is now as you have said. I confess to having topped up at 2.85 but sold again at 2.8575 as I'm somewhat nervous that they might be massaging through a whole set of 200k sales. Think I'll sit on what I have and see what Friday brings.

Nobody cares about the RW. What matters is whether the injunction is raised this week, following the 14 days period. And on the day they serve the injunction (should it happen) it won't matter whether the injunction is subsequently rejected or not.

If the injunction is not served this week then you can expect the SP to get a bit more wind in its sails. The SP IS currently looking quite weak on the bid side of the book, though the MMs can change that at any time.

Thanks Zurichsee, yes, had appreciated that the Statoil licences did not cover the area for which bpc undertook the seismics, and of course was aware of their very generalised statement about why they were pulling out. My hopes for a deal with a larger company disappeared a long while ago. But thanks for your considered response.
