Aren't they doing just that? But in a controlled way, which is their job? They can't raise the bid too rapidly (it's currently 83.75 to sell) otherwise they lose their downside protection.

I think it's in the nature of things that a share that has started to appreciably rise will find sells from traders. It is interesting though that whereas there were 4 MMs on the ask at 90p, now there's only one, whilst now 2 MMs on the bid at 82p. Whether one should read things into that, I'm genuinely not sure.

pauldrayton - yes, I read the same. It's incorrect - if there is only one slot, say 3k at 87p, only one order will be fulfilled, the orders will fail.

Gazelleman - did the same - sat there for 30 mins and then got cancelled by close of play. I also had NT at 85p sit there for an hour. I don't think its quite the case that the MMs 'have to deal' at their ask size and price. Ultimately, it's down to where you are in the queue, pending available stock.

We are all here to make money, whether we are long or short for a day or longer, and our posts will always be tempered by that, intentionally or otherwise.

But I ask you, what would I have to gain by saying the share is a hold. And what is the difference between my last post in saying to a current investor, think twice about adding, when one of my posts was to someone who asked, "should I sell", was no, hold?

This BB is full of folks shouting 'buy buy' and others shouting 'sell sell', without even a considered thought. I like to think that the majority of my posts are on-topic rather than full of vitriol, abuse, and crude language.

Decisions to average down should never be taken with regards to the past i.e. can I recover losses, only with regards to the future, are there profits to be made?.

So the simple question to ask yourself is, given what I know, would I invest in this company now?

We know that the company is aiming at 0.8p for the upcoming dilution and that when it does the SP will be around this price for quite some time due to the size of the dilution, so you would have plenty of time to consider your options then, and hopefully on the basis of more information than the company has provided at this time.

Would it not be wise to wait for that situation and make a decision then rather than gamble now, just for a small upside to 0.8p?

Unfortunately, the company continues to be very much less than transparent around there funding and cash situation, something that after the last full funding strategy update (which was very good in its detail) I'd hoped was a change of behaviour.

Can anybody find where it says or indicates at what price these are being placed? If not stated, then presumably at lower than .08p? (Some large sells today might suggest so). In which case, a buy now for when the MMs get this up to 0.8p could be worthwhile?

A final add, before I get off to do other things, have you noticed that when discussing funding the company writes in terms of £s, but when writing about cash it's $? Not sure if that's deliberate, given the widening disparity between these currencies, but it would help everybody if they stuck to one denomination.

Morning Egg, I stand to be corrected (!) but as I recall the note was £15m/$20m. They'd already taken £3m/$5m of this, and are now taking an additional £2m. So as per RNS, they have - or in fact are looking to finalise agreements for - the remaining £10m.

I think we have to appreciate that the company clearly in the process of working through their financing situation and funding plans, so further than the stated commitment to Saffron, we have to see?

Think it's time for the traders, the rampers, and the shorters to chill a little, whilst the investors and to-be-investors await for more news and updates to unfold.
