Message to our CEO: Suzanne Dilly29 Sep 2020 13:56
Dear Suzy,
I hope this email finds you well.
I would like to congratulate you and your team on the successful results for VAL 201. The success of VAL210 gives patients hope that there is treatment with excellent success rate. Having seen very close family members suffer from cancer I'm very happy that your work will help millions of families. I believe it is a blessing that one has an opportunity to make a profound impact on millions of lives.
I started investing in Valirx a few years ago and have attended several AGM's. I feel it's important to meet the BOD and interact with them, because a company is only as good as its management. In the past, following good news previous management always issued more shares at a big discount. This has destroyed shareholder value and their confidence in the company. I think this time some investors are thinking the same will happen.
Some investors post messages to create fear and doubt. To overcome the negative impact, it is important to explain the results and the vision you hold for VAL201/Valirx. Obviously, there is so much you can say, but to explain the results in detail and your visions will assure investors. Investors invest in the visions of the management. You have made bold changes since you took over as CEO. This shows that you are a strong, protective and a visionary leader. You have earned the respect of old and new shareholders. It's important to explain your vision to as many people as you can i.e via interviews, news paper, etc. The more people that hear your vision, the more will believe in your idea/vision, the more likely that you will become successful in your goals.
I think the company broker should be playing a more constructive role to support the share price. Some companies give interviews on the day when the results of a major drug are released. This is to avoid any misunderstandings from the RNS and to stabilize the share price. When the BOD protects the share price they are in fact protecting the company and its loyal shareholders.
I was very happy to hear you were appointed the new CEO of Valirx as a result I increased my holdings in the company. We had excellent results yesterday, but the share price has been destroyed for no reason. Success for Valirx means success for millions of people with cancer. A strong company with a loyal shareholder base will mean big opportunities in the future. I fully support all the bold changes that you have made. Having run a business for last 17 years I understand the difficulties one faces. I have spoken to many investors on both LSE/Twitter, they are excited that you are our new CEO. I hope in the coming days you will be able to reassure investors that the new management is very ambitious and have a great vision for the future.
I know you are very busy and I didnt want to take up any of your time, but with the share price down +70% in two days I felt it's important to convey my observations. Thank yo
