Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
She is not Tesla's biggest fan. ARK funds only have 0.21% of Tesla market shares. Not even in the top 20 of fund holders.
First Gigi Berlin customer collections planned for 22nd March 2022, official factory opening ceremony.
Great news. At last!
Following approval by German legistration, Berlin factory quickly produces first cars for customers. Tesla Model Y long range vehicles with VIN numbers. Only a few, bit we are finally there. Celebration time!!
Do not listen to the Daily mail.
Yes, But mostly with some buys on the way down through January as the SP kept dropping lower.
I missed these recent $700's. I only started accumulating from the 18th of August last year, starting at $670, so i am a new investor here. In for the long term now. cheers
They are almost there. Sounds like imminent final approvals coming this week. We have finished test production cars sitting outside the new factories. VIN numbers being registered in Texas, and now official opening ceremonies dates set for both Gigas.
Big things about to happen, lets start the ramp!. Q2 figures will be amazing.
Good discussion article here by Reuters, concerning recalls in America since 2020. The graph is very informative and shows just how much Tesla are misrepresented by the mainstream media in the USA, with Ford and GM having the most recalls. Nice.

Yeah, i had already seen the rumoured 1,000,000 achievement by Tesla, but still a long way to go to ramp this plant to full capacity, However a good start. Enough for 1,000 Model Y's. Once at full ramp they will produce annually enough for 120,000 cars. A long way to go to equal Panasonic and CATL supplies to Tesla. That is why Batteries plants at Austin and Berlin will be built.
The number of batteries used is staggering, but the fantastic Tesla innovation to change to design 4680's will solve that issue.
Cells used in a Model Y are reduced by 75%, so if Tesla can get the same number of cells produced per battery production line over a 24 hour period. Enough cells for 3x as many cars.
Now mind blowing time. Shanghai used 300,000,000 battery cells in December. With 4680's they would only need 67 Million for the 70,000 cars delivered. Wow! Great innovation by the Tesla team.
Yes, i know, capacity, just need Austin and Berlin open, nearly there. But GM, 30 models. No chance
Well, it's all a personal choice.
I like driving, and while i am able to, i will always have my own car, and will not be letting others soil it.
I just think with all that Cash in bank, Tesla have enough money two go full steam a head in all auto sectors, it is currently a vast lower end market and Tesla is missing out.
Great work Tesla team China.
Shanghai deliveries maintains good production even with Chinese holiday season starting.
Deliveries 59,845, second highest so far, 284% growth over Jan 2021 (15,484) YoY, of which Exports 40,499.
Dog. I am with Koffee on the idea, the cheaper car is needed. Unfortunately, it will be sometime before Berlin can build another factory at Grundheim site for this. However, i think Elon is sandbagging a little. I suspect the new China design team are working on a cheaper car design, because they could sell millions in China, others local companies are delivering thousands at the moment and a Tesla 2 model would be hands down safer and better, and we know China can build a new factory within 12 months. China EV adoption is moving so fast, it's amazing. Tesla need it over there, they missing the that sector growth.
A couple of snippets of information for you.
There is still the occasional vid posted showing anomalies with FSD.
The most recent one showed a car suddenly veering towards a cyclist, which FSD had missed. The driver corrected back to his own lane, as Beta testing awareness advises, drivers to intevene as required for this current testing version of FSD.
Mad Cathy is currently adding Tesla shares again, it was reported a few days ago.
Tesla will be reporting their sales fiqures in the next few days, but other manufacturers are already showing big sales increases for the New year. BYD, X-Peng and Nio all growing YoY. This bodes well for Tesla.
So it's great to see new Gigi Shanghai factory extensions starting on a recent vid. There are currently 4 constructions areas progressing in Shanghai to accommodate further ramping. Go Tesla.
Dog. Just in case you were not aware.
Space x have two BosDyn robot dogs that trot around at Boca Chica sometimes. I seen them on NSF vids.
They are were being using as cameras to survey the Landing pad for debris before programmed Starship launch/landing tests.
An example.
When Ford CEO Farley on their Call this week talks about making their ICE cars more profitable for future sales, he is crazy.
They may have a Mach E from Mexico, and a Ford Lightning order book, but they will compare to be too expensive soon, only die hard Ford fans will buy.
So YES. Tesla are miles ahead with technological advances in auto engineering after 15 years of EV development.
I hope these functional robots will be able to make and serve a good cup of tea when i get to sit in my Elderly care home. LOL
Dog, Yes, eventually AI humanoid looking robots will happen, but it is a long way away. I said don't get bogged down, because Optimus revenue will take years before it increases company EPS, probably next decade, 2030's. Elon says he wants to try something in the factory by the end of year, but my opinion is, it will be a very basic proto. Just think about what we "Human" body does instinctively, estimation, memory, experience for a few. Just lifting a box alters centre of gravity to the body, then turn, CoG changes again, and we remember what should be behind us, and have peripheral vision to spot obstacles. There are many more things to solve. If Optimus is humanoid with only two cameras, it is going to take a lot of development work. Tesla cars have many cameras to see the world around them.
Just saying upward Tesla stock value this year will come from Berlin, Austin, and Nevada, with lots more sales of Model Y and 3 and Energy Megapaks. That is the prospect for 2022. IMHO.
Typo. I meant "Not talk about new products in Call".
