Someone is fed up of waiting a 617000 Sell at 11.5p has gone through which is a £70000 trade. Perhaps they think it will be better deployed elsewhere. Sean has been very quiet with no news so far this year. Let’s hope he is about to hit us with some updates such that the seller will regret his impatience!

I have just spoken to Barclays for sometime while they consulted their corporate actions team. They have the details of what is supposed to happen but have not yet received what they need. I made it clear to them that the MTL shares arrived in my wife’s II SIPP last week. They are looking into it but didn’t have a timescale for sorting it. I registered my concern and said if I had wanted to sell my MTL shares they had cost me money as the sp has been falling. They will call me when it is sorted.

Barclays have still not taken any action to convert CNR shares to MTL. Has anyone contacted Barclays about this?

Still no MTL shares in my Barclays account just showing my Condor holding.

Top of the Leaderboard Up 45.45% at 12p. The volume at 1.19 million is much higher than the previous 3 trading days and has just exceeded last Tuesdays volume.

Just to give some perspective even after the substantial rise we have seen in the last couple of weeks of 395% from the low of 1.9p on the 9th January, the market cap is only £2.7 million. Last January BLU was at 20p so if this rises 100% back to that level the market cap would only be £5.4 million. If Satoshipay is about to experience the substantial increase in value we are hoping for, it would need to rise 400% to get back to the March 2023 price of 50p and a market cap of circa £13.5 million.

The fact that the founder of Satoshipay, Meinhard Benn has taken an 8.3% stake in BLU is a very positive sign in my opinion as he has waited along time for the company he said had Unicorn potential to succeed.

If I recall correctly when Ross Beatty was a shareholder he lent Condor his favourite geologist and thought Cacao had the best potential of all Condors prospects.

On another point Barclays have still not made the MTL shares available in my account.

Brief mention on todays podcast regarding last weeks rise. They mentioned Nick Slater increasing his holding and that someone else had notified a new position. They clearly hadn’t done their homework so failed to mention that the new 8.34% holder was Meinhard Benn the founder of Satochipay which is such a crucial event. Looking forward to what is in store for BLU next week and I increased my holding on the back of Meinhards purchase.

MTL’s Market Cap has moved from £100 million to £150 million following the takeover of CNR. This moves it 5 places up the league table of global gold miners by market cap from 94 to 89. There are a number of companies just above it so there is scope to move further up the league table if the share price rises. Currently a £200 million would take MTL to 80th and the higher it moves the more it will get noticed by global investors.

Still nothing on Barclays. The MTL shares are showing on II SIPP but no cash yet.

You should receive just under £800 in the next few days as the cash you are receiving for your CNR shares in addition to the MTL shares.

More than doubling the annual production is seriously improving the value proposition.

I have Condor shares in Barclays and II and as of now there is no change in either account. They both just show the holding in Condor.

Some of you will no doubt recall the shares being suspended a few years ago while they looked into a reverse takeover of Satoshipay by BLU. A lot of work was done but eventually it didn’t proceed due to market conditions at the time. I wonder if those plans are being dusted off?

Interesting to note how well the mine next door is doing and that Nicaragua is the powerhouse house:

This gives a good idea of of what can be achieved by MTL when they start mining Condors gold. Such a pity they didn’t do this deal w years ago because by now the mining would be producing and the cash pouring in. After all the time I have been invested here what’s another 2 years for a proper pay day!

The portfolio is doing well with LUCY up over 30% and GNIP over 50% in the last week. The jewel in the crown of a Guidant IPO shouldn’t be to far away and I certainly don’t want to be under invested when that happens.

RNS Garfield Progressing

CEO making it clear GMET is firing on all cylinders to maintain the excellent progress of last year. The first RNS of the week put the finances in a good place and now the news flow begins as per the CEO’s statement in this morning’s RNS:

"Antimony's critical importance as a defence metal, coupled with the U.S. focus on reducing reliance on foreign imports, places Guardian Metal in a unique position to contribute to domestic supply chains. While tungsten remains our primary focus, this antimony result highlights the strategic importance of our entire project portfolio. We remain committed to maximising the value of Garfield for our shareholders while aligning with national priorities for critical mineral independence."

It is good to see that although the current main focus is Tungsten they are continuing to move forward on other assets in a cost effective way. They are gathering important information which is needed in order to plan an effective drilling programme when funds are available. Hopefully the US Government Grant will be awarded in Q1 which would probably free up some funds for Garfield as the Grant will be used on the Tungsten.

The additional 2% of the company taken at 30p by an existing highly regarded Institutional Investor was a very positive sign, which one would expect the market to react to as the news continues to flow.

I am forming my view because Rick Rule said that while he would like SVML to develop the project he believes Rio will buy them as they will want full control. Rick did say in the last couple of weeks that he is already a large shareholder and is actively buying more currently.
