Indeed it is the last piece of the jigsaw and hopefully Mark will mention this when he does his interview with Proactive. Clearly we have all been disappointed that Feasibility Study has been delayed. But this shows the time and money has been well spent because this will enhance value when the Feasibility Study is release. Note Mark’s references to “significant derisking of one of the most important variables” and “provides significant comfort to Investors”

Thanks I found it but just about gold charts. Very interesting but no sign of Mark and sounds as if she is leaving the bit about how to invest in gold until later in the month.

Barwickman, I have had a small investment in Agronomics for a year or so and the fact that they have taken a much larger stake than SEED gives me considerable comfort . Agronomics have considerable experience in this area so I am not just relying on what Ed said. The important think is that SEED are doing what they are supposed to do, sourcing early stage investments that are not otherwise available to private investors.

Well worth listening to. It sounds like a good investment in a product with great potential.

It looks as if there is not much stock about and hence trading is slow. There has been a 500000 Buy at 0.9175 following a 207511 trade at 0.89999 shown as a sell but an earlier trade at that price was shown as a buy. Volume now Up to 1.58 million from 9 trades this morning.

Another tick up this morning building on Mondays RNS Up 2.9% at 0.9 on low volume of 782000. I am looking forward to this becoming a penny share again!

Returning to my comments yesterday about interest returning to the cannabis sector I note Kanabo is up 30% this morning on no news. It is worth giving Ed some credit here because he did buy Cellular and Kanabo on IPO and take a quick profit which was a very astute move. This is from the 2021 final results:

SEED mentioned today in an IC article about Agronomics. This is the relevant paragraph:
“ There have even been some interesting developments in agronomics closer to home, albeit on a more modest basis. Agronomics Limited (ANIC) and SEED Innovations (SEED), of which Jim Mellon, executive director of Agronomics, has a 7 per cent holding, have been engaged in a funding round for Clean Food Group, a UK-based cellular agriculture company focused on the commercialisation of palm oil by fermentation. The oil is the most widely consumed vegetable oil on the planet, but related farming practices have been linked to deforestation and the loss of natural habitats. Up till now, Agronomics has mainly been associated with technologies that produce large-scale quantities of meat by isolating an animal’s stem cells and adapting them to grow in vitro. For many people that would probably be at the Mary Shelley end of the scientific spectrum, but it does underline why tech offers the best way to square industrial agriculture with environmental concerns. Therein lies the opportunity for investors”

Another late reported Buy 2.2 million at 0.88. That takes the volume to 7.96 million not far short of yesterdays volume. It will be interesting to see how this goes in the morning.

A very encouraging late reported trade a buy of 1.155 million at 0.94.

Noting the rapid rise of Cellular Goods (CBX) and the $6.4 Billion investment in a medical cannabis company by Pfizer, is interest returning to the medicinal cannabis sector? It would seem to be the case and so we should watch for signs of it being reflected in our cannabis portfolio.

There have now been 3 x 500000 buys today with the last one just going through at 0.895 as the volume reaches 4.5 million. Perhaps we will see this tick up before the close as the price paid approaches full offer.

Another very quiet day for Condor with just 3 trades but Gold has just moved up sharply to 1785 from lows late last month of 1690. Rising gold should be good for sentiment and it could go much higher if Nancy Peloski manages to upset China !

As a long term shareholder in 2 oil and gas companies that had both hit hard times and very low sap’s, I would put forward the recent history of one as a precedent for AEX over the next few months.
If you look at Chariot (CHAR) which is a very similar story but the appraisal drill was offshore Morocco by a company that had been at a very low price for some time. They announced their 3D seismic in September 2020 and it moved the sp above 2p for the first time in along time . It was 6.9p at the end of October and 8.2p at the end of November even though the drilling was over a year away in December 2021. AEX will drill in less than 4 months. CHAR’s drill was successful and has been as high as 24p.. It is currently around 20p as it discusses farm ins and financing. First gas is targeted for 2024.That is an illustration of a 10x increase in sp starting from the release of seismic.
There are a number of reasons why AEX can do even better than CHAR because the time period between Seismic and drilling is so much shorter. CHAR had 3 placings between seismic and drilling and had a further one in June. AEX has no requirement for placings and is carried to first gas in 2024. CHAR currently has targets from analysts of 3 to 5 times its current sp. It should also be remembered that when CHAR released it Seismic and did its drilling we hadn’t had the recent massive increases in gas prices which transform all the numbers.
Clearly I haven’t compared the resource figures but I dont think that is necessary for this illustration but what it does show is that the current analyst target on AEX 0f 3.7p ( which may well be increased when the 3D seismic is released) should be easily achieved as its only a 290% increase on the current sp.

The next news to focus on could land any day now:
“ APT has recently received the first batch of field seismic data and expects to have processed and interpreted sufficient data to confirm the final drilling location of the Chikumbi-1 ("CH-1") well before the end of August. Field acquisition continues in order to complete the 338km2 3D seismic programme”
Hopefully it will exceed market expectations and give a decent boost to the sp. They can then keep the news flow going as they will still have the results of the full seismic programme to announce later on as we build up to the drill.

But never forget that there is a strong possibility of jam today if a bid or bids start to arrive. You certainly wouldn’t want to be out on the day that happened!

Todays Times Buiness news has an Article on how des****stan and Bangladesh are for IMF loans with ****stan only having enough funds for 1 months imports. This is an extract:
“ Foreign exchange reserves in ****stan and Bangladesh
have become rapidly depleted. ****stan's central bank
reserves have shrunk to about $8.5 billion, barely enough
to cover this month's import costs. The value of the
****stani rupee has fallen to historic lows.
Payment of the IMF loan to ****stan is seen as critical for
boosting confidence and preventing future defaults,
fulling economic and political chaos.
Shortly after negotiating the revived deal with the IMF in
mid-July, Sharif's coalition government
- which is facing
calls from Khan for a snap general election
- said that
****stan would be paid the first instalment "very soon".
Bangladesh along with its fellow Muslim state is facing economic and political chaos. If I was the IMF I would be insisting that Ba7took steps to help itself on the energy front and fast track Phulbari. It would be a fitting end for Hasina to be forced out of office for her failure to provide energy security. The old woman is well past her sell by date and her legacy is now in tatters

People were on the streets last week protesting about the Electricity crisis. It won’t be long before they become violent and demand Hasina does something about it. If only she had approved Phulbari. It’s about the only card she has got to play. It’s not an immediate solution but would be a major step towards energy security in the future and she could say she was doing something about it.
