The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Badgernator, I fail to understand your point that Kuat doesn't need us. If he didn't need us, we would have been delisted many many moons ago.
The lack of dilution benefits the Oraizman's just as much as it does to us. The more free float or available volume there is, the weaker and less stable the share price becomes.
We've all seen how buoyant the share price is on good news.
As much as I cannot stand that we are at all time low, the latest RNS seems to be reeking of desperation to get the deeps flowing. I would like to think that we may have turned a corner by getting local contractors to get us out of the rut. Hadn't considered they may be bff of Kuat. I just hope they can get A5 cleared up and flowing.
It's a shame, I feel sorry for the PI's that bought on the peak.
The selling was overdone, a lot of people bought on sentiment on the risk of it paying off. MM's didn't allow anyone to sell a bean on the bell until it got to 1.25p. I did de-risk on Wednesday around 4.10p and left the rest free float on the off chance it would have been good news. I'm still up and looking for a good exit point before I move the gains into CASP to bring my average down.
Badgernator, it's a punt. With such punts you run the risk of losing out. I've bought on the clear and concise details provided by the responsible persons. There sufficient details to suggest there is oil. At what grade remains anyone's guess.
However, seen as we're at all time low and we've still not bounced back from the COVID market crash, my confidence in this share is strained. What's the point having oil deep in the ground if they don't know how to take it out. The share price reflects on how confident everyone is on CASP getting it out of the ground. 1200 BOPD is extremely optimistic especially if we can't get a well cleared from broken debris, the side tracks are not working, we don't know whether Clive is coming or going. We can't get a consistent news update. When we do, it's nothing but negative. Our progress over the past 6 years has been shambolic.
I'd love to sell up, but i'm sitting on a colossal paper loss, which makes the decision quite simple. Stick it out and risk losing it.
Just my take on the current situation.

If anyone is looking to offset losses here, take a punt at 88e. I took a stance a couple weeks back. News flows has been regular and expecting confirmation of oil using wire logging) within 10 days - actually stated in the RNS.
Clear and concise RNS really puts the news we get from CASP to shame.
Fatbloke it’s simple, your risking more than you can afford to lose. As someone who has lost more than his fair share, it is not worth the imbalance that it creates in life. The reward here appears to outweigh the risk and I’d like to say with what little holding i’m now holding, I am fairly confident now that the DFS is one step closer, we’re on the cusp of getting that reward. None the less, don’t risk it all. Play it safe.
The dfs was substantial.
Best of luck
"I’ve had a premonition that the big ones going to appear on the 18 March and it’ was a bigger premonition than all of the other 9 ones I’d had before." - I'll have to drink whatever Emmystar's having! lol
I thought i'd try something to get a feel for everyone's optimism.
I'm down to the last straw with CASP, if the next RNS doesn't provide something worth hanging on for, i'll be cutting my losses and moving on.
