You are probably right. Too much sport on yesterday for me to check. F1, BTCC and rugby totally took up my day. On checking, Avington produced 183795m3 water in 108 months. Add that to the oil and it is not far off numb nuts 336 barrels a day. They even recorded a small production of water in January 18.

The most the field ever produced was 172bopd back in March 2015.

Perhaps you should have checked the details for accuracy before mouthing off.

The Avington field last reported oil production volumes in December 2017. The first official monthly production figure was recorded in January 2009.

Between those dates, total oil production was reported to be 36,378m3 or 30,691 tonnes, nearly 229,000 barrels. The average extraction rate when the field was producing was 336 barrels a day."

229,000/108 months = 2,120/m or about 71bopd

Why not check the last flow rate that UKOG gave in the annuals? That would have given you a clue.

"Average Avington production in 2017 was around 35 bopd. Due to high operating costs and issues with one of the production wells, Avington production was temporarily shut down in early 2018."
