Reports now saying: The engineering giant will report a £4.4 billion pre-tax profit in annual results on Thursday, up £2.2 billion on a year ago...

Anyhow the market is the market and at mo, it' ignoring the above !!

IMV it's living up to its name as the most manipulated stock in FTSE100.

The volume figures tells the story - and whilst the figures aren't 100% spot on, they are usually within 95% correct as a FTSE, there is more than double the buys to sells, on volume. Yet down, hmmm!

Defence stocks are down (it's their turn today) but other biggies BAE and BAB are not down as much as RR, quelle surprise.

If the pre-cursor 'report' of double the profits is correct (on Thursday), then it just proves this is being played for the boys, old chums :)

Other than that....

Since it's frowned upon to mention the daily sp, god forbid, it's been a good day considering the fall off late yesterday. A c.4% will do on any day.

Keep it safe and be well in the 13's by end of next week...

The sp has been on a good journey today. Hopefully the US won't spoil it. Only c.2% to 1300.
