Teddy, when a SP drops like IAG over the space of 2 days there is no point looking at 6-12 months time. The world will be in a different place, good or bad and who knows what the price of oil will be then.... Might be better investing in oil than an airlines if we are speculating on oil being "cheap".

Emerald, IAG are hedged this year so fluctuations will not have an impact? I think you are looking to gaslight a SP on a discussion forum....

The only reason crude is dropping is that there is a fear in the markets of a recession and there will be no demand for oil. I'm not sure whats worth celebrating here?

Lufthansa no matter how you put it made a loss in Q1, you will not have people queuing up to invest in a loss making company. Lets just hope IAG results are better. Even if they are, i cannot see a major bounce anytime soon. I see that clown Sudeneza has disappeared again.....

Good if it does? Well thats a clever nugget right there.....sudezena you have been saying it will go up for as long as I can remember and everytime you do it goes down. If you were so convinced it was going up you would have bought but you haven't you've just sat there .... if you did buy when you said it was going up, you would have lost a lot of money....

Nothing anyone can do short term, equities are super risky. Can read into it as much as you want, fundamentals are out the window.

Money being taken out of markets due to fear of a recession, then it calms down and money comes in. Keeps on repeating itself. Its literally a stop start scenario that has no ending in sight.... The more time you have the better off as you will need it!

By the way for people that are saying that Heathrow traffic comes tomorrow , its already out and increased 48% on March of LY, 6.2 million PAX.

What a load of rubbish, FTSE is not linked to this share at all, look at it today?! Stocks in an index go up and down, they dont remain tied to an index.

There was a big drop yesterday as people ran for the hills due to the Credit Swiss news. Do you think they are going to come running back now? There is so much uncertainty at the minute that they wont. SP suffers as a result. Its that simple to explain really.....

Leaden, its an airline group that has a lot of debt owed to banks.....

UNITED CEO SAYS OUR Q1 FORECAST WAS OFF, BUT OUTLOOK IS STRONG. Not sure I would believe everything you read in the papers. outlook is good in the US. Q1 was over represented by United.
