@Sadiq, no. This RNS had to arrive now "early July" was running out. The boil (no actual sales) had to be lanced, as without some release this would have tanked anyway. The approvals, which it would appear there are many pending, may arrive soon - this afternoon, next week, next month. Either way, on any basis, GDR have felt they had to put this RNS out today. I imagine the debate was "what about next week" "yes but that'll be even worse as it may be not only no longer early July and still only indicative orders". We have to wait.

I like the patient positivity, that's about right. Compare and contrast GDR, yikes what a disaster atm.

Technick, fine, but I don't think the new software is going to be a persuasive USP. I might be wrong. "Hey, I've got a better car". "Great, I've already got a car, and it'll do for the moment, and it'll keep going till I don't need the car any longer".

@Teabiscuit, afraid I agree. I fear I am getting ready to bail or at least halve, and put what's left of my £ in something else.

@Posh, we'd all like to see orders, we are probably all here on this BB under water, and more so every day, and very very tired of watching what's left of our capital go nowhere whilst wishing we'd never been here and put it in Tesla instead. Flood gates though? Orders yes, not flood gates. The big markets we expect, and are testing GDR now, have stocks in place from many other testing suppliers, at whatever cost. They may well switch to GDR as it's better, but they have stocks in place, or confirmed purchases from others that they will need to honour. I think the substance behind what I am saying is that the indicative orders are around £1m, and not e.g. £10m.

ST: "We are expecting an update on the NHS on Monday." What? No way. Our friend Tom has asked some labs to take a look by putting it on their list of available items from Monday. I think your extrapolation is way out.

@Shocker, your point being that ppl with big loses might as well bail and put their reduced £ somewhere else, as that's likely to get a better return than hanging about here?

All good, but 5-6 hours ago on a blog comments section from someone (highly relevant someone in NHS, as we all know from last night's LinkedIn explore) does not translate to sales by Monday, which was the point Grimshady raised. Yes, very useful though that this is out and about as morale boosting info. There may well be sales info by Monday (or whatever the definition of "early July" is) but not arising from this specific lead IMHO.

@Grim "do people read that as orders possible from Monday?" no, Grim. In sales funnel terms this is a suspect, barely even a lead. Then a prospect, and only then a % of closing the sale, then the detail of any sale e.g. a request for proposal or other procurement process, then a bid, and finally a contract to close, maybe. Takes time....

Bump - serious question, anyone know the mechanism please?

So, load an LFT spit stick, do you spit-on-the-stick and hope you get your spit in the right place? Suck it for a while at one end? Spit in a tube, dilute and then dip? Anyone know what the intended actual POC method for AVCT's product is?
