Are the competition getting worried about Xaar's growth? Lots of new printers hitting the market with Xaar printheads. Do any of the competition have the cash to buy us out before we take any more of the market from them? Who are the big players?
Thanks. Still strong buying over at AFE. What will CGG role be in all of this? well we have a stake in AFE and we have some of the best in the business on board, exciting times ahead.
Who is NC ?
Very true, but i think their his now been a material change in the business as they have made their first investment, this I hope will encourage investors in, as previously they were in limbo, which AIM rules don't allow and invesstors don't like because of suspension risk. That risk has gone, they just need to make good investment decisions, I trust these guys will do a good job.
Nic rise. Pleased with my little investment this morning, Plenty of room for growth IMHO.
Some very knowledgeable people behind this company. AFE a good start.
The customer is what matters. If the customers are happy then investors can be as well. http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.superdry.com
Why is ASOS SP so high? Supergroup (SGP) is doing extremely well on the profit front and an expanding of stores and fast growing Internet sales. I believe it's profits are greater than ASOS, yet you can buy shares in SGP for less than £7 and it has a market cap of around £560m, ASOS has a market cap of £2646m. This differential makes no sense, can someone explain why it exists? I purchased SGP yesterday on the grounds that it is good value in relation to ASOS, but I must admit I normally invest in oil/minerals and don't know much about this sector so any explanation would be very helpfull.
I was just looking at the profits and market cap of ASOS and SGP. Why is SGP so undervalued, do we have less assets? What is the reason for the large SP difference? SGP international is growing fast. What are the stats for online sales?
Think about it, Blacks bank is Bank of Scotland, one of Blacks biggest shareholder is Sports Direct, and who is their bank? BoS will do everything to keep Blacks Shareholders happy. I think we will all find out tomorrow! BoS should do everything it can to rescue this company! if not, for me, it will have a black mark against it's name.
that's more like it.
buys coming in.
This link sums up the current situation very well. Also previous placing was at 54p and Sports Direct at one point not far back offered 62p per share for the company! http://www.fool.co.uk/news/investing/company-comment/2011/05/05/a-retail-recovery-play.aspx
