The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Big fan of BNR and todays news is a good idea, but I'm not sure it's the place for crypto currency investment just now, I think the consumer market is the place. I'm in BLU, they have over 30% stake in SatoshiPay which announced it's partners today and has a London launch party tomorrow. https://medium.com/@SatoshiPay/satoshipay-launches-stellar-integration-and-six-new-partnerships-1ce6c74059b6
Quote from https://www.plusonecoin.org/ "PlusOneCoin is a social media cryptocurrency. Plus One Coin (PLUS1) is an innovation where social media users can up-vote content and other social media users using a cryptocurrency. This bitcoin-like currency enable content providers and platform owners to monetize their social media sites while giving their audience more power to effect the social media content they consume. Blockchain technology enables cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum and PlusOneCoin (+1 coin)........" ".....Coming soon to your favourite social media sites!" Could it be similar to this https://steemit.com/faq.html#How_does_Steemit_work ? Sounds exciting. Which Social media sites?
Grapevinez I started like you this time last week and was getting around 50 coins per day. But the difficulty just increased today, so it will take 1.5 days or longer.. It's probably not worth the effort mining via the wallet now.. Best way currently is via http://happypool.co although I must admit I don't know who runs the pool, I have a few questions for them, but can't find any contact details on their website. The main thing is I have coins flowing into my wallet from the pool. :)
I did not say that I thought they would be big! I have watched cryptocurrency grow since the very start of Bitcoin. I use ADVFN, and they offered (via their BB) users the opportunity to actually get involved in mining so I am giving it a go. It's not costing me anything, but if ADVFN come up with some good ideas for their blockchain you never know the coins could become valuable or they could become worthless, but at least I have a better understanding about this technology as a result.
Yamin, yep you are correct, sorry about that. I note from that RNS "The Company has a 17.98% per cent. interest in ADVFN plc, which based on the closing mid-market price of 39.5p per ADVFN share on 26 October 2017, is valued at 1.82 million. " So ONL have a stake in ADVFN. Clem Chambers, CEO of ADVFN started the thread on ADVFN telling everyone about PlusOneCoin and how you can create a wallet for the coins and mine. My assumption is that PlusOneCoin is the blockchain mentioned in that RNS. I could be wrong, but it does seem to be a reasonable assumption.
A coin is on its way. The coins are created in blocks of 50. Creating them from your wallet is very slow, for me it was only using 25% of the CPU processing power on my computer, it could take over a day. You need cpuminer, you can control how much CPU is used with that, I was running at 75%, leaving 25% so I could still do work on the machine. Even better is using http://happypool.co if you have nvidea graphics card on your computer then ccminer all the details are at the website. Good luck
Yamin, see this RNS http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=ONL&ArticleCode=lwld6d6h&ArticleHeadline=Share_price_movement If you go on ADVFN you can find instructions for mining the +1 coin.
This coin may not takeoff as quick as some would hope, well not in quantity. Apparently it uses an ASIC resistant algo which I assume means the powerful miners can't produce PlusOne Coins. So maybe it will become a rare coin.
Has anyone produced coins via their GPU rather than CPU. Im using cpuminer for cpu and attempting to use ccminer for GPU, but it's haveing problems communicating with the wallet. Can anyone post suitable .bat command file that will work with ccminer and PlusOneCoin wallet?
I note the BGS PFS includes_ Diesel generators for plant and camp 12 x 1 MW gensets. 9 x 110kl self-bunded diesel storage tanks. Is it not time that Miners started to use solar and wind power for electricity generation along with flow batteries for energy storage. It would save them a fortune! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_battery It is crazy they are not using such systems and costing them into their cost studies!
I think it's a fine line. It's almost a fulltime job creating content, maintaining and updating a website on a regular basis. It also requires a continuous flow of information from the directors to the website manager. This costs time and money. Do we want to employ a website manager for £25k a year and require that the directors spend time updating info, and making sure they don't infringe AIM rules at the same time. PR is not everything, I think we shoudl just stick with RNS.
oilmagnet477 - ALL the information is available in the RNS and these are available from the Blenheim website. I think some confusion may occur because BNR are dealing directly with the legal owners of the exploration permit, ie. the company that holds the permit directly with the Mali authorities. In the case of Dieba that is 'Mansa Lithium Inc'. see https://uk.advfn.com/stock-market/london/blenheim-nat-BNR/share-news/Blenheim-Natural-Resources-PLC-Completion-of-Mansa/75307935
Big news from BGS should be in soon. BGS currently suspended on ASX. http://birimian.com/GoulaminaLithiumProject.html PFS will give us a better idea of the value within Lithium pegmatite deposits in Mali. Positive I hope!
Anyone know what the Lithium content of cornish brine water is? https://www.cornishlithium.com/ in the news http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2017/08/13/lithium-start-up-finds-backers-cornish-project/
I'm not 100% sure about, but I think Rossley Consulting website has just been updated http://rossleyconsulting.com/Home/SectorsExplorMining So is the above company connected in any way with our Lithium Investment? It appears that this guy is the main man for the above https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10545898/officers The above person also appears to be connected (now or in the past) with Northcott Capital.see http://www.northcottcapital.com/our-team/meet-the-team/ and Endeavour Financial Corp. http://www.zoominfo.com/p/Cyril-Amadi/1812837943 They are into Lithium for instance Endeavour see http://www.endeavourfinancial.com/our-experience/by-commodity.aspx?CM=Lithium Is the above guy connected with Nashwan? The above are just bits of info, I have no idea if any of the above is related to BNR transactions in any way. DYOR
So are you spooked, have you sold? Does anyone know about investing these days, or is it just a punt or a chance with not a care about what an investment really means! Some crazy comments from those who don't really understand what investment in a startup is all about! You have to believe in a company and it's management and not some shit movements in the SP. I started investing in the stock market in the 1980's, as far as I can see todays investors (particularly on AIM) are just gamblers. To be honest I would be happier if BNR just went private, rather than put up with all this shit!
