Well done all. We finished 20% up from 09:30, this share has a tendency to spike early morning and then roll around and drop. Almost 40% on the day is fantastic on a no news no RNS day.

Not seeing the JB RNS is intriguing but when it does ome through it is also a sale report from the day before? Lets see if it slips in after hours with some other news.

Expru it is a cracking movie and this share is like the quickening when it moves like this and something to be coveted. Thankfully there can be more than 1!

Good luck Twisty sounds like you have your head screwed on, only you know your own financial circumstances and work within that. Profit is profit. This is one share in many many shares and trades. Better to have money to trade than burn out and fade away.

Into the last hour of trading. 30% + is awesome on a no news day. Let's keep the brokers busy. So much so that JB's broker couldn't do Richmond Groups RNS paperwork from yesterday's sale!

Slightly off topic but not. The jackpot is almost £100m tomorrow night. When I crack that bad boy I'm going to help you guys out and buy up about £5m worth of share so expect to see 30p by next Friday!

I would be hoping for 01 Sept lending resumed. We need that coming into Christmas, given the current climate. But maybe thats under 27 Aug business update. A resume to lending would send a good message. They have already said they do not need the regulators approval to do so but if they are clever (which i believe they are) they won't proceed lending without running it by the regulator. I have worked a lot with regulators and the trick is to keep them in the tent with you and try to build a transparent working relationship, this way yu avoid the big shocks.

Keep the faith folks. For many this is going to be a life changing share when it reverts to where it should be. Most people who post headlines like this have little to do or most likely little funds to invest so they stay quiet on the rise and get excited when it falls a bit. As many folks say on here there are very few straight lines with investing.

In normal times (which I appreciate these are not) getting a yearly return on your portfolio of 10% is a really good year.

Get rich quick doesn't happen that often and don't get carried away by folks on here who jump from this share to that share and proclaim great wins. Sooner or later that catches up. Best thing to do is research and research more and look for the less "volatile" folks on the boards as they can add value. Most importantly DYOR.

BTW I was joking about the irrevocable 1% buy order. Imagine getting down to zero and then saying "right lets get back up in size at 1% per day". Without considering the practicalities in trying to do so.

Either way I feel less exposed than I have done over the last few months, of course the situation in business is just that. It's business and not personal so who knows how this could play out. I hope for those of us who have played the long game the rewards are as we hope and much more. I am also expecting his public message fairly soon, I doubt he will sit on it after putting that on Twitter. I'm actually surprised he has said what he did since this would be quite newsworthy. So perhaps time to buckle up. The company also needs time to digest his message. The company may also wish to put his proposal to the shareholders by themselves. Could be an interesting few days.

One way to get a seat back on the board would be to buy his seat & the company. After all if he sold down to zero what incentive would he have to sit on the board of a company that he had little to zero financial incentive to do so.

When the IPO took place I believe he mentioned his group took £60M out of Amigo. From what I understand I don't think they have materially invested that money into much else, so probably a chunk of it is still there. Does anyone have any idea roughly how much his share sale has raised. Perhaps he and some others would seek to make an offer for the company. That typically is the kind of proposal that Boards receive in circumstances like this.
