I don't think JB can say anything about Glen even if he knows (he has still not won the vote) technically he shouldn't know yet either since he's not even a shareholder (apparently). If he did that would be a tremendous abuse of insider information. I suspect GC & JB (if they ever do speak again) will not speak until after the vote, probably too risky.

Sadly we have to read between the lines on what is going on. The only positive we have is what the market is telling us. For some reason we are being told the departure of one of the key people is good.

I suspect Glen wanted to go before the shareholder vote was complete but the BOD wouldn't allow him to make an announcement until today until after the voting had more or less closed. Another reason why I voted against this BOD.

Aw well at least the BOD finally put out a positive RNS this week (at least as far as the market was concerned) no-one thought they would manage it. Got to give them some credit for that :o)

Fig it doesn't really make sense eh? I've always said if you hold that amount of stock in a company and have an opportunity to stay and drive the bus, you would stay wouldn't you. for example if I own 6% and am the boss and screw it up then I only have myself to blame. But could you walk away and let someone else drive the bus?

That and the comments in JB's novel last night about these lads being screwed by investors and 3rd parties means there has got to be more to this.

Look at it like this. The BOD put out an RNS that their Ace in the pack is departing and the share price goes up in a vertical line. What does that tell you?

Each time the share price has risen recently to any extent has been news surrounding Benamor (although true the 1% daily sale kept dragging it back down again).
The other significant rise was when the BOD put out an RNS to say they had enough cash to keep the biz trucking end of June /Jul

I hope this ends well. I do hold some worry as I just had a boardroom 5h1tshow on POG where the board (who were good) got ousted by one of their larger shareholders who previously said they would vote for the board. Totally blindsided. So I'm preparing myself for all eventualities.

My only concern is that JB doesn't have enough to win, particularly with Glen gone. However thinking it logically through. I assume the BOD have the numbers from the votes and Glen would have seen these. Given his statement to not work with JB if JB had lost surely Glen stays?? With a 6% shareholding he ain't going to want to walk if JB doesn't win. That just wouldn't make sense? I wouldn't want to walk away leaving that amount of shares to the current numb skulls.

The only other reasons I could think for Glen to walk is perhaps JB loses and there is a offer for the company coming. Glen disagrees with the Board on it so he goes. The offer gets tabled for the buyout. But this seems very unlikely.

Fig All eyes on JB twitter to see how he responds. For once I hope he doesn't give the game away and this is all part of a grand master plan. One has to hope and assume JB has won the vote. The numbers should be with the company if not by now then pretty soon.

If JB hasn't won the vote this could get a bit stinky.

Fig I saw this coming. I posted about an RNS yesterday. Glen not happy about being outed for drinking the kind of drinks women would enjoy! Ergo - resigns.

He'll be loving that reference to girlie ****tails, that is definite resignation material.

Today whilst not that nice, wasn't so brutal. Amigo fell in line with average of the FTSE100 and did slightly better than the FTSE 250 average.

Obviously the last 5 days in aggregate don't make for beautiful reading but chin up folks.

Apologies if this has been discussed, does anyone know why Glen Crawford is not listed on Companies House as a Director in the business?

Last time he was CEO he was listed as a Director, plus I would have assumed this role given seniority puts you on the BOD?

Jonathan Roe (still to be approved by FCA) and joined roughly the same time is listed on Companies House as a Director?

FTH - don't know enough about it. From what i read Jonathan joined same time as Glen and he is registered as active on Companies house. Not sure if the company can hold it back. I would have thought once you are approved they update the register so all can see it.

I'm wondering if it is being held back because he threatened to resign, logic being no point in approving someone who may resign a few days after approval. Ergo if he is not approved then what's the point of him working notice?

Cheers for that, they could indeed make Glen stay. particularly as he should be FCA approved by this stage (which is taking a damn long time and running very close to the Vote) I see Jon Roe on companies house appointed 01 August. Separately I am wondering why it is taking so long for Glen to be approved? That seems odd?

Some of these brokers seem archaic with their voting processes, no wonder some of the broker dealing fees are so high.

Am at my maximum risk appetite for this stock, so won't add further. I won't lie it is tempting but I have enough to make a decent wedge if all the doom and gloom gets out of the way.

For those topping up do not over expose yourself and good luck, it is very likely this company isn't going to write itself overnight. True that some double digit % rises could come as quickly as the price as dropped past 2 - 3 days but that is a risk.

Don't go spending all your Furlough dosh because you are on a mortgage holiday. Or if you are a key worker don't be taking out an Amigo loan to buy more stock!

Bandwagon - No it is automatic, but you have to set it up you have to change your settings under preferences I would like to subscribe to the Voting & Information Service there is a tick box.

Once this is done they sent it to me under portfolio > voting mailbox and then you fill in forms. I had this set for some time so not sure if it changes retrospectively see how you go with making those changes?

Cheers Yuri, am holding through an ISA and voted through Interactive Investor. Was fairly seamless. It did make me think on a few points.

1. What if Nayan loses on the AGM vote does that mean the EGM vote is void and doesn't get registered.

2. Could he be back in via the EGM vote for example if JB lost that resolution?
