Lol.
Seems I'm bang on the money here. All that hot money moving in will need to settle at some point, and the selling side door is already pretty much closed in volume so this could really drop or lock people in.
Look at the 3 year volume and the ski slope chart to see how that looks.
That is of course 300k of shares (at the current price).
MXC have an option effectively on the whole company. They could easily pre-pack it as they only have 200k worth of shares, but up to 8m of debt owed - they will be the senior debtor.
MXC were the lender of last resort here as presumably they'd prefer an orderly exit. As they wish to wind their company up and are hampered by the two main assets (TIA and CLCO) I doubt this goodwill will extend.
Why the heck would a buyout be higher than the current price? It would require someone to take on circa 250% of the mcap in debt plus ongoing costs. When thry can prepack it in a deal with the debt holder. Shareholders will get nothing here if they hold too long.
Tialis were similarly hamstrung with debt - whilst MXC supported them the price has hardly budged in 2 years. It will be a while before this moves back up, if ever.
Which is today!
We won't see this trading again until it has funding sorted.
Yeah, he's obviously got the wrong board.
I don't know what you are expecting from the results? They will be as stated in November I expect. The devil will be in the detail of course.
The forward looking statement and news on debt will be the only thing to move this. If you are expecting exciting results then you are gonna be sorely disappointed!
Great company, great trading update - records broken for them again. A CEO making a few quid trading on the side doesn't reflect from this. Massively overdone. Bought at 4.95 today, quite the longer term bargain!
Yes, a stonking buy at this price.
Mark and the team quietly getting on with building the business. The share price will follow.
A good forward statement will help with debt repayment / refinancing conversations, these won't be an issue as the story is there for everyone to see.
